I would love that too, but right now it seems unlikely. Unless they unveiled some news about it....

Don't we all! I would be overjoyed with a second season. Then I will no longer be disappointed with the ending of the first.

There is no way the intended there to be only one season of this series, the GIGANTIC hole at the end accounts for that. Like neorogue said, there is no way they would leave cronos still controlling the world, even without "gigantic"

I just finished this show a few moments ago. There is no way they'll just leave it hanging as it is(I hope atleast).

It's kind of like Zero no Tsukaima, or Shakugan no Shana, they definately leave you hanging in suspense for a while.

Indeed it does. I started reading the manga after I watched the anime because I can't be bothered to wait around for a second season that might never come. If you thought the anime was good well all I have to say is the manga is on a whole new level. I've read up to volume 20 and the story is sooo good. There have been some fantastic plot twists, and it's always going in a very interesting direction. I beg for the rest of the manga to be animated!

Honestly I thought that the ending was satisfying on an emotional and dramatic level but yeah, we need at least another season fo sho. Since Chronos has already done everything to Sho short of having him anally raped, I think a good direction for the series would be to focus on Agito-sama's ambitions, since he wasn't developed very much in the first season. Then again I haven't read the manga yet, so what do I know.

I honestly thought, that other than a few poignant moments: the death of shows father and a few other less prominent deaths I honestly thought that the show seriously suffered from dramatic pacing, Shonen clichés, and story/plot focus. Above those points I don't think I've ever watched such a show with so much wasted opportunity, yet it came off so limited and that all we ever saw the characters placed in limited environments/settings. The only time I felt like the story was going to progress beyond what we are given was early on in the first couple episodes and the last couple episodes literally, yet those were the last episodes and story couldn't go anywhere beyond that of course. I don't know how the manga progresses, but I think it would've been interesting had the series been 30/40 episodes longer and had an arc centered on Makishima leading a resistance force in North America as the search is on for Show, because watching everyone else huddled in that apartment hiding from Chrono's and insufferably caught up in their feelings was annoying. All in all, the point I'm trying to make is this could've been done on the scope and level of a Full Metal Alchemist (either of those series OG or Brotherhood). Hopefully, some studio will revisit this property.

Almost finished the first season. I started it because of recs to fans of Devilman, but I have very mixed feelings about it. IMO it was is too bloated. Maybe it didn't get a 2nd season because it was not popular enough and I can't blame the audience.
