It's a rather sentimental episode, not much of action. I liked it. Yamato looks like brand new again. Yes, I know, it's my opsesion :D

The survival of Mamoru Kodai and his appearance on Iscandar always seemed a bit far fetched to me, but it makes for good drama. I can think of worse things than spending a lifetime with Starsha making babies.

Lovely episode, didn't expect his brother to be still alive, but when Starsha said there was someone from on Earth on the planet it became quite expected actually! Together with the ending but well such an ending makes it lovely so all in all a great episode and with one more for this first season I really wonder how it will end!

The Gamelus step being the last trial of the Yamato, one could expect thzt the damages would remain at least partially visible in the next episode. But of course, no ! This lessen the impact of the previous episodes badly.

Like said above, as soon as Starsha mentioned a rescued earthling, I couldn't imagine anyone besides the elder Kôdai brother.

4/5 Not fond of the couple choosing deliberately a tragic fate above a relatively happy one.

I don't understand why Starsha rejected their offer to go to Earth with them. For me it would be a better outcome for this situation but... well, that's what the creators choose to do.

Because she's being sentimental and thinking it's her duty go down with the planet. It would have been nice if they would told that what exactly is wrong with their planet.

Maybe that would have helped to explain that how the hell did everyone else expect her and her sister die.

This episode raises bunch of other questions but i'll let my problems slide.

I'm sorry but that was dumb they should've just gone to earth with everyone else TT Great job everyone now Iscandar can die with the dignity it deserves: full of tenth generation incest babies
