| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great competitive energy this episode. Not only was the soccer match fast paced featuring a good amount of consistency but also made it look like the players were having fun. The training parts of the show is stil intense as usual. Gotta make sure everyone is in top shape at all times. |

| OMG!!! It's Misaki-kun!! Finally my fav. character in the anime. It's my first time hearing the current seiyuu who does Misaki-kun, so I'm not sure how she sounds in other work, but I feel that there's no difference in the Misaki-kun's voice from I remembered. |

| The results of their hard work are showing, the improvement they made thanks to Tsubasa's motivation, Roberto's advices, and of course their own effort is there, now they just need to show it in the match! I'm hyped for the next episode. |

| Hha, when i was child, i didn't remember kisugi and izawa position, what i remember were takasugi as defender and taki as winger. After watch this episode i was like "why i didn't remember that" as i said at previous episode, pace is maybe slow but it is consistent, i like it |

| Great training episode. Real nice to see all of Nankatsu come so far. I like the goalkeeper training that Roberto gave Tsubasa so he could understand what shots a goalkeeper might have difficulty reacting too. TAROU!!!!! Super hyped for the match next week. |

| Another buildup episode for the upcoming match. Misaki finally introduced in the episode. The training was intense showing the progression of the characters. They are stronger than before, the hard training paid off. Wakabayashi is doing some intense training, what a passionate guy. Everyone is ready for the match. |

| A training episode to build up for the match next week and it was an awesome one at that. Seeing this show and everyone just makes me energized after seeing how much fight and spirit these kids have :) . Definitely excited for the match next week. |

| man, the kid with the glasses is going places also, funny how I always thought it was normal for goalkeepers to be wearing a hat, because of this show and the lego goalkeepers wearing them back in my childhood, yet no real goalkeeper goes on the field wearing one |

| Misaki Taro was my favorite character as a kid, it feels great to finally see him on this version!!!! I like the choice of seiyuu, too. The whole team got stronger & the tournament starts soon. Next episode is going to be lit, I can't wait. |

What i found funny in this episode:  Tsubasa's mother's and this new guy's character design is so similar that it made me laugh. Come on, even the eyelashes. At least remove eyelashes on the guy! But nope. Let's leave them there :D |

| Nice to see them all train. 3/5 I was excited about Hyûga and Jun but I wonder how I could have forgotten about Misaki ! @Lylaaz That's one of the things that annoyed me the most with the first TV adaptation: there were so many faces that were 90-100% similar. Even the hairs weren't enough to differentiate characters sometime. It's slightly better (despite sometimes making the kids older-bigger in the process), I always thought that the first TV series made the faces even more look-alike than the manga. |
