| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Whoa, that got serious. The first half of the episode still had the lighthearted storytelling style but the theme of battle butlers picked up a bit. Kouma definitely makes his presence known as a main character and breakout star of the show. |

| The misunderstanding with Hotaru following the music teacher was amusing. She's apparently his big sister. Things got a bit serious at the end. Kouma said he wants to talk, but he just started fighting smh. |

| So far the mix of slapstick life and the true story of Butler Battlers is taking shape, but as with understanding the gist of everything it takes a while as the side story covers the main archetype. Don't know how this will turn out, but at the same time, not having too much hope for it. |

| I actually enjoy this anime. I like how it has its main plot but they're not going for "Kouma is here so everyone will face nothing but drama". Other characters have their own problems (did I mention that Hotaru is absolutely adorable and Ren is way too precious?) and it makes everything quite realistic (as much as travelling in time can be realistic, of course). For now I'm interested in side stories more than in the actual plot but I hope it's going to change. I would like to see at least one serious episode, without funny scenes, because I feel that keeping this pace of the main plot will result in rushing things in the end, which would be the worst. Oh, and one more thing: making quite likable character unlikable is not cool. |
| I've been prepared to drop it but it isn't that bad. I don't think it's even bad at all, just average but the story seems intriguing enough. I also like how the show itself is not overly pretentious, they toned downed the mood with humour quite nicely. Well, only future episodes will tell how it'll be overall but so far it's ok. |

| I find myself find the main plot somewhat interesting, and would like to see more of it and less of the "bishies being bishies" part of the anime. There's like only about 3-4 characters in J,Hayakawa,Hayakawa's employer and Hizakura(not counting the dead sister) that seem relevant, while the rest and everything they do or happens around 'em feels just pure filler. |
| I'm failing to see anything worthwhile about this anime. J is completely unlikable. Only pro is the hot guys but even that can't carry a show too far. |
