Yes, it's just a fucking short. Really can't get over this bullshit. I took much longer time than 5 minutes to read even a single chapter of the manga. Guess it's still understandable, given that yuri usually sold like crap.

Gotta hand it to those fujoshi, they're supportive of their ikemen. There's that upcoming anime for a BL manga, probably gonna break the 10k sales counts for the BD or something. In the meantime, Citrus was expected to received less than stellar amount of sales and Sakura Trick wasn't doing good either years ago. Just gotta hope for Kase-san OVA to scored great enough sales to encourage further investments in similar genre but I'm not holding my hopes up. At least shows with predominantly female casts and yuri subtexts is still selling, and that's fine by me.

There aren't many Yuri fans sadly. People prefer harem shows where they can insert themselves to a male mc instead.

no wonder considering that fact that most of yaoi anime are good, or pretty decent at least. on the other hand, most of yuri anime are Trash. even tho there are many Awesome yuri manga out there, ironic ain't it. lol

I'm fine with that. For me, short episode length indicates a lower chance to be boring, because shorts are mostly fast-paced and have something going in them.

the sad thing,is not that this manga will be 5-min cause it is already expected knowing this studio,it is that this manga was ONLY noticed by that studio and wasn't noticed by other bigger studios.
it is really sad cause there are many many other great yuri manga that could make a great anime yet will forever be unnoticed.

it is hard but we must accept that the Yuri genre isn't that popular.it is weird knowing that there are a LOT of yuri-baiting in anime in general.maybe because they only treat it as "TWO GIRLS MAKING OUT IS HOT" or that it is an unusual thing for them or because of comedy purposes and that's it,they don't take it seriously as a genre.

If a big studio adapted a yuri manga their reputation will be ruined cuz even if Yuri genre was kinda of popular outside of japan it is still weird for most japanese people to find two girls together i guess that's why studios are afraid of making yuri.take for example "Doga Kobo" they made many shoujo ai ( Yuru Yuri_New game_Sansha Sanyou(bait?)_Mikagura Gakuen_ Love Lab(bait i guess)_Gabriel Dropout(bait?)..etc) but never once made a full on yuri anime.Citrus was actually adapted into a full length anime not because it was good but for the sole reason that it was selling good and i doubt any other yuri manga would sell better(sadly).

Yuri fans argue that yaoi is more popular than yuri but from what i saw i think yuri(or lesbianism in general) is more popular and acceptable,but as for in japan,i think yaoi is more popular but i'm not sure.but even so Homosexuality in general isn't that spread and acceptable in japan unlike other certain countries.

However,I think Yuri is getting more and more noticed even if it is mostly baits or teasing.though I doubt it will ever get THAT popular but i guess we can only hope.

Generally, a production company like TV Tokyo, Kadokawa etc. greenlights a project, budgets a certain amount of money for production, and then hires a studio that will do it for that price. This is the producer of this show listed on MAL: https://myanimelist.net/anime/producer/1582/Ichijinsha

In this case, it looks like no one else was interested in investing in a Tachibanakan Triangle anime, and Ichijinsha had to go it alone. 3 minutes and 30 seconds a week from Creators in Pack was all they could afford, and/or they didn't believe in the project enough to invest more.

P.S. I like Creators in Pack, they do good work on the limited time and budget they get.

Good. I honestly might not have given it a shot if it had been standard length. I love yuri but this one wouldn't be worth the 5 hour total time investment for me (if it were 12 standard episodes).

I see a lot of potential in this anime but with it only being 5 minutes short there's only so much they can do. Hopefully they can manage to make longer episodes in the future.

Once it's decided to be 5 minutes, it won't change for the rest of the season

Yeah I was thinking much the same thing, this series looks like it could have been great but probably won't meet its full potential due to how stupidly short it is

Everytime I see these 3 minute shows, im thinking like what the hell are the creators trying to achieve. Are they so broke that they cant even make at the least a 25m ish 12 episodes shows and try to bait people into buying whatever is the source instead?
