| mhm, I watched ep1 and the Female Main Character seems to be slightly more... three dimensional than most of the otome based FMC I've seen before. but, it's just ep1, I'm pretty sure there's lots more world-building and LOTS more bishonen to show off. I dropped Sengoku Night Blood and the first Tōken Ranbu -Hanamaru-. after watching 3 episodes of SNB I knew it was a snore-fest. I couldn't stand either show, at least SNB HAD a female protagonist. yet again, she was a 'shrinking violet' that just 'couldn't say no to anything'. but TRH had such DISGUSTINGLY sucky fight scenes that I dropped it after the first one happened. the whole premise of the show was SUPPOSED to be these fights in the past. but it was really a bishonen filled, slice of life, Technicolor-yawn inspiring, BLECK! of a show. |
