What is the likelihood of a sequel?

I haven't read the manga so I'm not sure if the material up to this point is enough for 22 episodes or not. Just curious to know. Would love to see this show go on for 2 or 3 more seasons. I just love CCS so much. ;~;

I'm up to date with the fantranslations and I don't think there's even enough for 22 episodes yet (there are 3 volumes out). My guess is they will be doing a lot of original work.

Yup, but there is lots of filler in the original anime/movies compared to the original manga too, so I guess it's not too surprising.

I assume after 22 episode they'll take a break and then maybe come back with a second season later. It would be nice if they actually got some of the future plot unreleased from the manga and animated it first for these 22 episodes instead of making up stuff but... no idea how likely that would be...
