I heard that the Japanese broadcast is going to alternate between the two OPs.

Just going to comment that I love both OP's but I prefer the Chinese one especially the second half of it. Also I love the Chinese ED, the one that has HouHou digging in the woods. Beautiful music beautiful show, it's so underrated

I like how it revives Chinese folk music with a rock/pop arrangement.

幺妹儿冯宝宝. And a little special the song is singing in Sichuanese, and it's a folk song style.

That is the op but why does the chorus part sound very different to the OP in the actual episodes ? Can you sense what I'm hearing as well ?

What I love is the fact they kept the ending song.
That said there were 3-4 ending songs for the Chinese Version.
Loved the Wang ye ending as well that was such a fun play on the taoist scriptures.
Got to love the Bao Bao endings where she still reaches for the shovel.
