| This wasn't really a first episode, it'll be the next one which'll start the series. This was good the refresh the previous happenings and the mobile suit types. I'm really curious how will be the story and the implementation compared the the previous Gundam series~ |

| I kinda liked it... Because it had lots of Char! Pity other than the OP he's not in it at all. I also spotted some 0079 footage that I never saw in the series. Char in his uniform with no head gear with Lalah sitting down. Is it perhaps from the compilation movies? |

| Anime ja nai.....? If they are planning on keeping this opening, I wonder if it will actually grow on me at some point. This anime sort of scares me. It's Gundam. | OK that was uh interesting, I really don't know what to think I kind of liked the recap because Zeta felt pretty disconnected with 79 most of the time, You know Char and Amuro not trying to murder each other when they first reunited, the mobile suit designs seemed barely connected with the OYW mechs. That Char quiz thing though that really through me off. And I have no idea why they did that whole montage with Judah and co when the next episode seems to show the exact same footage. |
| Finally after 6 months since i last watched Zeta Gundam. It's time for ZZ :) The recap was awesome, showing bits from 079 and Zeta. Though i'm kinda spoiled since while i'm watching this on BD. They didn't remastered it and instead left it as is. So seeing BD to this was kinda hard to get used to, but the other episodes will be in BD so it will be fine ^^ Nice pop quizzes every now and then! Hyaku Shiki is number 1 Mobile Suit, but i have to agree Zeta Gundam is just too good :P Let's see how this Judau kid will fare well compared to Kamille and Amuro :) Can't wait for the next episode! Anime Ja Nai!!! |
| What did I just watch? There is recap and then Char doing MS Quiz? Then some trailer for real first episode with main charcater talking over it. And some horrible 80s 3D-effects. This can only be so bad it is good. |
| My reaction during the "first" episode: is this really the first one? This opening? O_o "This is not an anime!" ?! It should better be one, I want something rewarding after I went through Zeta. The "sciences" moments were good, but the pirated video I watched had some stupid blur effect and strange colour tones and the footage from Zeta and 0079 was disgusting (Amuro's hairs were almost red). A scene directly following Zeta's ending? Great, Fa and Bright are still present. And it's a good news if Camille can be examined, not sure if a doctor can heal mind damages resulting from a ESPer attack and war trauma. Char hosting a quizz? ... Char's voice on a game was strange enough to make it funny. And then... a long recap/preview of the actual first episode?! I should have stopped right then, this part was simply an horrible spoiler. 0/5 despite the funny/good parts because I was cheated into knowing the beginning of ZZ without watching it. From now on, I will always advise others to skip it or watch the eps2 first. @St0rmblade It had been broadcasted for a year at that point and was about to do it for another. It was probably made for the new audience that would watch it on the new school year' beginning. |

| What exactly was so bad about this episode? It was a recap of Mobile Suit 0079 and Zeta.. it was a refresher. It reminded me of how great the original was and how Zeta could be so frustrating to watch, but had a lot of great moments. The negativity about this first episode has me thinking that people heard this show sucks and are not forming their own opinions. |

| you gotta be kidding me that the first ep was a fucking recap of the other series leading up to this and then introducing the cast of this series... tf? not to mention going into this is about to be really weird sense i watched the ending of the zeta movies where the the ending is completely different and much better and pretty much makes it as if the MC never went crazy like he did in the 50ep version but nonetheless ima watch this and see where things goes also good to see Fa is back my fave from Zeta |

And judging by the preview, everything that looked like new footage will be repeated in ep. 2 again? Eh. Damn somebody should've told me not to watch this "first episode" haha. |

And holy shit that creepy look and smile he gives almost made me jump from my seat, but this was shown before the real episode, so now I won't get the same reaction. | I finished Zeta a few days ago. The recap was fine but the prologue for the next episode was too long. That moment when an anime refuses to being called an anime lol. |
