 Perferred Name: "Mikey" Michael Anderson Age: 18 Reason for Need of Money: Just wants money to live a good honest life and satisfy his hobbies. Bio: Mikey grew up with his grandparents because his parents ran out on him and had him at a young age. They didn’t want to deal with him so he was left with his grandparents. His grandparents never had a tight leash on him either so he became an arcade delinquent rather easily. Playing games improved his reflexes. Sometimes he came home late or not at all just to hang out at the arcade or other city places. He wasn’t terrible in school but his teachers worried about his habits of doing whatever he wanted. Since he hung out in various bad places there were many times he had to run away. He learned to scale buildings, duck and dodge through city obstacles and simply move fast. He started parkouring more dangerous places and became rather good at it. He had to run from gangs and the police several times and enjoyed the thrill of it. He then learned that there was a city in California where he saw a spot that was amazing for parkour, living there would be expensive however. Which made him want money and take up the job. He never got into many fights but when he did have to fight instead of run, his trained reflex's and agility helped him defend himself a little at least until he was able to escape. He has only been in the family for a few years, and he's been slowly making a name for himself, but he still has not found major success within the family. He finally finds a big chance, when he is contacted with the offer to come to the island. With the kind of money he was getting offered, he could significantly increase his standings within the family, and the entire clan itself. | Perferred Name: Þyrnirós Tíbrá Sigursdóttir Age: 21 Reason for Need of Money: To pay for the surgery of her deaf sister so she will be able to hear. Bio: Þyrnirós, or nicknamed Thyr, is the oldest of 2 daughters. Unlike her sister, who is deaf, Thyr doesn't suffer from any physical or mental ailments. In fact, she excels in her hearing and vocals, which resulted in her great talent for music. From a young age she was able to sing quite beautifully, which only extended to more kinds of music. She also picked up various instruments, having nearly mastered the guitar, having above average knowledge of drums, some skill on the violin and at least some base knowledge on most other instruments. The guitar however is still her favorite, she loves playing it and singing along. A little quirk she pulls sometimes is to turn on the bass to the max and turn on the volume before hitting some chords. Not for the loud noises, but because, even though her sister can't hear, she for sure can feel the vibrations. As such, it is something she had done on the monthly from primary school till now. During her primary schooltime her sister, Dallilja, started getting bullied. When this happened she immediately started being protective of her sister, pushing the bully back and even getting in a fight with them. After that point, Thyr started getting in more fights with whoever picked on her sister, and even attended several fight and martial arts clubs for years so she could protect her sister even more. This caused for her more aggressive behavior towards people who she either doesn't know or shows disliked behavior towards her sister, and has a tendency to get into fights. During her middle school was the first time she was fully recognized for her musical and vocal abilities and was approached by an A&R Manager who offered her a contract to play music in the professional world. Taking him aside, as she always walked with her sister and didn't want her to get involved in this, Thyr explained to the recruiter that she couldn't take that offer as she had to stay with her sister. She didn't want to leave her alone and needed to take care of her, something she didn't mind to do at all, she loved to actually, but that meant she would not be able to follow her dreams and just throw everything else away. As such, she declined, and later told Dalli that the man didn't have much interesting to say, leaving it at that. As to be expected, after the first person had approached her after having heard her live in livestreams she did or watching the videos and music she'd put on youtube, a second person came soon after, which she told the same things once again. When highschool started things changed a little. Dalli had picked up a hobby for herself and started to go out on her own as well, which scared and worried Thyr the first few times, but slowly grew accustomed to. This gave Thyr the ability to do more for her own hobby, which resulted in her mastering her guitar, as well as becoming a rising internet guitarist/musician and vocalist. This once more resulted in more A&R Managers contacting her, a few on the phone and some more in person, which she all rejected and declined one by one, having her sense of duty and her care to look after Dalli. By this time she also already had some scars on her from fights that got out of hand, which lead to Thyr carrying at least some sort of sharp weapon on her at all times, mostly a box cutter, as well as the band-aid she had on her cheek at all times from when she had been hit in the face, having even had to go to the hospital for it to be sown shut. Of course, this signature band-aid now on her cheek did make for a few more hits on the internet as well, for some reason. When the opportunity came however, when she was contacted by a certain owner, and she saw the payment for her labor, she decided to accept it. She told her parents and Dalli about it, but only giving her parents the real reason for why she was going, to pay for her sisters surgery. She was surprised to hear that her sister was going as well a few days later, but was a bit relieved as well, being able to still take care of her instead of having to leave her behind for 3 months. And thus, she set out, together with Dalli, to work as a maid for the next 3 months. Personality (Optional): The more violent/protective type. Aka, she has a tendency and thus also experience with getting into fights, starting as a result of bullying from people against her younger sister, and just something that stuck since then. That doesn't mean she picks fights with just anyone, just people she feels would mean harm to her little sis. Other than that, she is fun, bold and, of course, caring, especially towards Dalli.  Perferred Name: Dallilja "Dalli" Vár SigursdóttirAge: 19 Reason for Need of Money: To fund and support her sister's dream of becoming a famous musician Bio: Dallilja doesn't remember the sound of birds chirruping, of rain tapping on the sidewalk or even of her beloved sister calling her name. As far as she remembers, she has always been deaf, forced to watch the world like it is a silent movie. However, she did not seem to mind, always smiling even if she couldn't enjoy things others could. The most important thing for her was that her family was there for her and she always was there, no matter what. From a young age Dalli started learning sign language, getting the hang of it fast, yet she refused to be homeschooled and instead went to the same school as her older sister, Þyrnirós. As it did not have special classes for students with hearing impairments she was put in a normal class, forcing her to learn early on to read on lips, but also putting her in the situation of getting bullied for being "a weirdo". Even if her sister made a big deal of it, protecting her everytime and also starting to take martial arts for her sake, Dallilja was not very happy that she seems to have become a bigger burden, not needing protection. However, even if she did not mind bullying, always going through it with a serene smile and always forgiving the others, she knew telling her sister to stop would have no effect, so she instead tried to find ways to handle herself better on her own, in a peaceful way. By middle school Dallilja was already quite good at reading lips and was already working on learning the english version of sign language. During this time Thyr has been approached for the first time by a A&R manager, though at first Dallilja was clueless about it. Eventually, the second or third time she managed to spy on her sister and another recruiter from behind a corner, reading their conversation without being seen. Soon enough, Dallilja would realise, or at least believe, that she had been holding her sister back more than she expected, her condition being the one to stop Thyr from following her dreams, as she was aware how much she loves music. This realisation made Dallilja work even harder to stand on her own two feet and be able to live without help. She didn't want her to get hurt anymore or throw her dream aside anymore. She made sure she knew perfectly both the Icelandic and English sign languages, read the words from people's lips even when talking fast, and even try to train herself to talk with her own voice, a hard feat given she never made a sound before. The thing that finally allowed Thyr to dedicate more time to her passion was when Dallilja took up her hobby, photography, and started going out on her own. Even if the people at school were not nice to her, many of the young children and old people around the park she usually goes to when alone know her and like her. Eventually, her sister would take a job as a maid that was very well paid, thing that at the moment Dallilja didn't know why Thyr chose to do this, further delaying her career debut. Determined to finally do something to repay her for all these years of kindness, Dalli followed her sister to the island, wishing to get the money to kickstart her sister's walk to fame, but also show her she can handle herself well. Personality: Dallilja, if she could speak, would be mostly a quiet, but soft spoken individual who would always find something to say to make people feel better. Always with a serene smile on her lips, she is very kind and caring, loving everything about life even if she can't get everything of it, and being very forgiving. She tends to worry fast, especially for her sister who gets in fights quite fast, yet she doesn't stand up much to herself, she being a peaceful pacifist. While her sister has a musical ear, Dallilja has a photographic eye, loving the idea of capturing a moment forever on a piece of paper. Even if shy, Dallilja is very loving, and wishes more above everything to support everyone she loves in whatever way she can. |

 Preferred Name: Lucien Omari Age: 28 Reason for Need of Money: To pay for a surgery that will allow for his daughter to walk again. Bio: By many accounts Lucien has had a blessed life. He grew up normally, was born without any sort of disability, and was raised with parents that fostered a love for reading. When he left high school he was accepted into a college so he could get the degree necessary for him to become a writer. There he met the woman that he would marry within the next three years, and within a further year the pair would be blessed with a child, a little girl, whom they named Kona. All seemed well, his wife had a good paying job, he would soon finish his job, and they now had a child to raise. Lucien was twenty one. For seven years it was well too. Lucien finished his degree and began his new career, and in celebration, the family was going out to eat. They had picked a family restraunt, one the family visited often enough. They went out and had an excellent evening, but on the way back home, tragedy struck. A drunken driver slammed into the car the family was in on the side Lucien's wife was on, and the side that his daughter was on as well. The car killed his wife instantly, injured Lucien, and left his daughter unable to walk. Reeling from the loss of his wife, but with his daughter still alive, Lucien began to search for a way to restore his daughter's ability to walk. The search turned up several leads, however they were all far too expensive for Lucien to afford, and left Lucien sinking into despair. However, one day an offer with the answer to his prayers appeared. Lucien did not refuse. |
| Name: Kai Broward Age: 22 Reason for money: To save his failing family business Bio: Kai was your average American teenager, he went to school, fought with his parents on occasion, nothing out the ordinary in his life at the moment. The main thing that stood out to him when it came to remembering his childhood were the countless hours him and his father spent working on engines together. Everything from scooters to motorcycles, cars and boats, if it had an engine Kai knew how to make it work. Every Tuesday and Thursday night would be when Kai would join his father at his shop, many of the townsfolk respected Kai’s father for the work he did as he didn’t mind making house calls either. It wasn’t until he started into high school did he decide this was what he wanted to do with his life and truly stated to dedicate himself to the practice. Taking shop classes and the like to increase his skills, he soon found that working with his hands was what made sense to him and he enjoyed it. After finishing High school, Kai quickly made his place at his father’s shop. Working there for a few years he started to notice the decline in business, and in his father’s health. It wasn’t long before his old man wasn’t able to continue working, and Kai had to take over the business for himself. Having little to no experience running a business, Kai soon found himself in deeper waters than he expected, though his old man had been making money doing house calls and working it had not been enough to cover the upkeep. Realizing this Kai tried to raise his prices to cover the costs, but soon found himself out competed by his opposition. Stuck on whether or not he should close the business down, was when he received a special letter. Come work on this island for 3 months and walk away with up to a billion dollars, there was no way he could pass it up. So Kai sought out his island and prayed he could pass as a butler for the three months he needed to be there. Personality: Kai has a pretty level headed personality and tends to keep to himself while he works. Many would call him a man of few words, but those are just the people who have nothing in common with Kai. When he starts on a topic he enjoys he won’t stop until he said all he could. When it comes to making friends and being social, Kai can be rather selective about whom he lets get close to him.
