Could there be a third season? (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

You know, we're almost at the middle of this season and there has been very few progress when it comes to the school idol activities, the show has been so slow, we had a sub-arc about the open house, just one Love Live-related episode along with an upcoming one, and two slice-of-life episodes in a row, the events of the show are hapenning in early-autumn or possibly still in summer while the next Love Live will until next spring...

I mean, will the story be able to show Aqours' disband this season? Or there's n room for it and it's going to finish until a third season?

Seeing how the last ll ended in 2 cours then 50 50 chance of s3. Unless if this is aikatsu with 4 cours and 178 episodes.

I hope so but the Kanan death flag makes me doubt they're gonna make a 3rd season :( probably a movie though.

Yes, but the Love Live main events are still far, the main events will be in spring and it's not even winter yet at the current Sunshine timeline, apparently the autumn has just started, and the Love Live isn't in it's regional preliminaries yet either, I'm not sure how many more filling slice-of-life and non-idol-related episodes will we have, we have to wait to see what happens because very few idol activities have been seen so far.

Slightly but ending it with a movie like the original is a higher possibility.
I do prefer a season 3 though :(

No offense, it's stupid to theorize it by LLSIP's pattern. They have no plot armor (which is better story wise) so what makes you think the main events are even important at this point

And disbanding? Really? Another pattern smh

Don't get me wrong, I want a S3 coz it deserves it
