DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice, I'm really glad to see Tatara's confidence restored after all the drama. He and Chinatsu looked like they were ready this time. Still, the pair faced off against some tough competition. I'm not surprised that Tatara and Chinatsu still had some bickering although it feels more comedic unlike that other episode. All the training and sweat paid off. I feel like they definitely improved. |

| Great episode again. Glad to see Tatara and Chinatsu blasting through the prelims easy. Loved the part where the families of the contestants showing up made them embarrassed. xD Kiyoharu's narration about Tatara's style of dancing was awesome. Thinking about it, almost everything he says about Tatara's style makes sense, It's not entirely like how Marisa puts it as him making the partner do most of the work. Tatara dances based on what he feels and what his partner feels, with Mako the analogy of the flower in a frame made sense but with Chinatsu the wild horse and the rider makes sense. The moment Tatara understands and adapts to his partner's wavelength. That's when his dance shines. Heh, I'm happy they brought out that hybrid style that I was talking about a few episodes ago. Also, the final sequence was awesome. |

| Been waiting for this competition to start and it didn't disappoint me. One of the best episode so far and seeing the red dress of Chi-chan finally animated is just a candy for the eyes. Kiyoharu getting orgasm watching Tatara dancing is just great as how much he has confident in Tatara. Tatara and Chi-chan really got a lot better since their last competition :) I hope Tatara would tell his dad about him dancing after this arc but that we not happen soon. |

| Good episode. The best episode of the 2-cour imo. Nice to see that Tatara and Chinatsu have improved since their last competition. The ending was great and I'm looking forward to next week's episode. |

| This episode was close to perfection. The whole build up leading to Tataras awakening was so well done. Even tho,he and Chinatsu struggled during the middle part,but hey,one step back,two forwards. Comedy was also extremely funny, especially the part where the families of the dancers appeared(Mines reaction,tho xD) and Chinatsu and Akira bitching at each other. While the animation wasn't spectacular again,the staff still made the best of it and highlighted the key scenes so fucking good, OSTs were fantastic as usual. Not much more to say,it was way too hype 6/5 episode |

| So many emotions, so much hype... TATARA, YOU ROCK MAN! Every action and movement of the final dance felt so amazing, only to end with that AMAZING final hold and Tatara getting some new confidence. Also, the scene where everyone's families came to see them is just hilarious. As a guy who played guitar for a few years and had to see his parents at every performance, I can say that that scene was relatable AF. |

| This episode was amazing in many ways :D Tatara finally tamed the beast and for him to show the confidence it needs to catch the judge's attention was very awesome. He nailed it! Hopefuly they make to the top three :3 |

| Lol that family appearance part was hilarious. Tatara and Chinatsu looked really good on the dance floor, I'm glad to see that despite all of the arguments, they've improved greatly. Even though they're still arguing, it looks like they can at least manage to stay level-headed and criticize each other in a constructive way. With that being said, it seems like the two of them still have some struggles to deal with. That final sequence though, with Tatara's inner monologue, appears to be an indication that they're going to get their shit together. Next episode should be great. |

| It's red dress time! Boy does she look good in it. All the training a fights finally produced results..and more fights xD at least Tatara is able to reply back to her now. "There are lot's of kids with big foreheads" lol Tatara, don't tell Chinatsu if you want to survive the competition. During the tango it looke like they were wrestling. |

| Omg. This was spectacular. The manga was amazing. And i think they captured that moment and atmosphere perfectly. It was just thrilling to watch. Even though I knew what to expect I still felt excited and was sucked into my screen. I just found myself staring. Also, we are nearly caught up to the manga. Kinda like 2 chapters away really. |

| Great episode. Chinatsu looks great in her red dress. This competition is fun. Nice to see everyone supporting Tatara & Chinatsu. Still arguing here & there, but Tatara can handle it. Tatara & Chinatsu in sync at the end was amazing. It's starting to come together. |

| The contestants families appearing was pretty funny. Some of them tried to hide from them. Even when Tatara and Chinatsu argue, they can still dance well. They also can criticize each other in a constructive way. He is getting a lot more serious now ever since she told him he's a coward. He's a guy that dances to his emotions. Kiyoharu's narration about Tatara's style of dancing was great. The final scene was epic. |

| Loved all of this episode, can't wait for the next episode to come. He looked so cool putting on his clothes and they felt united as she drew his eyebrows. Am enjoying the new interactions between each other. Watching him want a picture with the results was hilarious XD Chi-chan's dress feels fierce and suiting for her. Him asking for Mako's perspective on what made Tatara a fantastic leader and later hearing her mention Tatara not being the same as she knew him to be emphasizes Kiyoharu's perspective of how Tatara grows and adapts to his dance partner's wavelength. Now needing to be fierce enough to catch up and surpass Chi-chan unlike Mako's passive atmosphere. I hadn't realized this so it was refreshing to learn.Kiyoharu's narration about Tatara's style of dancing was awesome. Shizuku looked attractive during certain frames. I liked her attire, made her blue eyes pop-out more. I loved the slow piano music played during the next episode preview. Little Chi-chan looked adorable with braids. |
| This second part of the anime made me not care about Chinatsu with this over the top pacing but it still was a really good episode, not my favourite but enjoyed it. |

| I liked how intense this episode was made, unlike many others that staff have been showing until now. I think one of this type was the last episode of Mako's arc, although today's one surpassed it in some ways. As someone who doesn't know so much about this sport, even with 18 episodes at this point I feel totally lost in many of the routines, it really feels like doing the same thing no matter what kind of dance they are doing at the moment. Which is sad since they should use the animation to highlight those aspects, but oh well. This is where the episode has managed to distinguish itself from many others, because Kiyoharu despite being a character who doesn't speak much, could get us, even in a brusque but adequate way, some progress from Fujita as a dancer and above all as a leader, this being not someone well versed in the subject. He definitely needs to talk more. And that leads to another thing that I liked about the episode: I really hate that the bad timing of Chinatsu was the "trigger" for Fujita to react, but hey, at least he could give us some reflections to not forget that in fact, he is not a bland character (which he is). It was curious to see him being frustrated about his own self and insecurities, a subject that has been sadly relegated in its entirety on many occasions. So, I was glad to see that today. The comic relief was random but at least curious, I didn't seem neither remarkable nor bad, just adequate to prepare what is coming for the next episode, which I'm sure will not be one of my favorites. |

| Seeing Hyodo's interpretation of Fujita's dancing style was interesting. I'm always hyped to see Fujita progress with his partner, and Hyodo's reaction makes it clear how far he's come. The pen drop especially was a great way to show the "this is it" moment. |

| Chinatsu's red dress looked absolutely amazing on her, but in one of the dances, it did cover up her face by accident, which shows the weakness of practicality in the dress itself. Apart from that, this episode pretty much had it all. Comedy moments with the arrival of the distracting families of Chinatsu, Akira and her dance partner, as well as the constant bickering debates between Tatara and Chinatsu. XD Then came along the dances itself, which had plenty of solid animation again, which is always welcome. I really liked Hyodo's judgement on Tatara too, giving us a good insight as to why Tatara catches his attention and having a different opinion of Tatara compared to Gaju, Shizuku and Mako. As for Tatara, his frustration of his struggle to understand a lot of complex words in dancing, as well as the whole ordeal with Chinatsu lead him to fully sync up with her movements in the last dance of this episode. He's now tamed the beast at last! Well done, my boy! =D |
| "actually, you're a coward" Best line of this fucking episode. That's why Chinatsu is best girl (after Hongo). She really is this one necessary person who will pull Tatara to level-up. The struggle, the fight but also the support we can see in Chinatsu-Tatara relationship, everything, all together, it's great. That's really the best arc for me and there are more good things to come. |

| The last few episodes have been a bit dull but this episode reminded me why I love this anime so much. The build up to the last scene was so intense and when it finally got to it, absolutely magnificent. It gave me goosebumps. This anime is so precious but I do wish they animate more dancing. |
