Well kaiji is winning fast but I feel like tension is going to double in the next 10 chapters.

That was some luck! I did not expect that twice in a row! But yes, the tension will be far worse from here since Kaiji will get overconfident and lose those two lives in the blink of an eye (probably because he'll raise the next bet).

did kaz pull an ace again and then got scared cuz kaiji had 2 down cards ? then isnt it better to play an ace then a 3 ? an ace looses against 2 while 3 losses against 7,6,5 and 4.I guess Kaz wanted to trick kaiji but he failed.

This games cool so far. The decision to pull an ace confused me until you guys brought up that he must have two aces. I get that part now, but his most recent decision still confuses me. I guess he didn't want to risk wasting an ace like that and get another 2, but I'm still slightly confused, ace seems much better than risking a 3. All that being said, he does have way more lives and in a sense he's capable of making a risk like that.

As someone mentioned, I bet Kaiji will lose all his 'lives' and Kazuya will give Kaiji a chance to save his life by using Chang and Mario's as bets. He could rationalize like he saved them anyways, and it's as if they owe him their life now. But being Kaiji, I can't imagine him really sacrificing them like that.

And I don't think there's cheating going on, it's just coming back down to that speech that Tonegawa gave on the brave man road arc, and also coming down to Kaiji being a trash gambling junkie. The perception of 'luck' and his addiction to gambling push him to the deal, and his will power tricks him that he's willing to risk it all, only until death's icy hands grab his heart, and as we saw when it does he starts going back on it, blaming everything around him.

edit: me from volume 2, i get literally everything now.

I like it so far, but I'm curious of how FKMT will keep this interesting for another 15 volumes.
