| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kaki faces brock & satoshi faces misty. Brock looks like hes turning into bruno and has gotten stronger. Ash vs Misty garados was awesome. Of course satoshi experience facing mega's gave him the ultimate advantage. The episode hints for future misty brock adventures in Alola and the teacher is going to start a pokemon gyms/ league in alola. this is going to be interesting. oh i think we getting our favorite jigglypuff back on the show. shes headed towards alola too! |

| 2 best Pokemon episodes since Diamond and Pearl, Yes even more than XYZ. I like XY but these episodes are nostalgic and pure quality Pokemon episodes which have been missing. The music used, the teasing, and Misty and Brock just being themself. Psyduck was hilarious like always, Ash was amazing as he is most times he's in a pinch. And OH SHIT JIGGLYPUFF IS ON IT'S WAY TO ALOLA!  Man, Pokeshippers must be going crazy right now! |

| oh boy does this mean Jigglypuff is back as a recurring character now?? Pikachu went Shadow of Colossus/Monster Hunter against Mega Gyarados. nice to see Ash having his crazy offence again and Brock acknowledging Ash's skills since he's been around him longer than Misty so weird Misty all cuddle up to Psyduck tho now that the nostalgia ran its course, oh boy will Nebby get in the bag next week? lol |
| I lived long enough to see my favorite trio as a childhood back in the form of a 2 episodes special during the freaking 7th generation of Pokemon, this feeling is so amazing! Seeing the current cast having fun facing Brock and Misty in a friendly match was nice, that Psyduck :) MegaSteelix vs Tortunator was so awesome, I shivered when he tanked that Z-Move like a boss (Gen 1 Brock pose included), MegaGyarados vs Pikachu was nice as well, I would have laughed so hard if current Pikachu still had Thunder tho, that rain dance strategy would have backfired so hard xD Fantastic episode with strong nostalgia feels, I'm really happy that they decided to do this, I really missed Misty and Brock. Lastly... is Jigglypuff coming back? Oh boy, that would be a neat and totally unexpected surprise! |

| This is the kind of Pokemon that I love! The gym battles, the hype, and ash's clever tricks! We need more of this kind of episodes! Also we want to see May, Dawn and other previous comrades too. I'd like to see their Alolan version and how much they've become stronger. |

| Damn, the anime has gotten so much better since the previous episode. What can I say about this one? It was EPIC in all senses! And Pikachu adds another victory to his record of beating powerful enemies xD The way Ash defeated Misty is something only Ash would do and Brock acknowledged it. Another interesting detail is that Professor Kukui got interested in the Pokemon League. And Jigglypuff travelling at the very end... So much to expect for the later episodes xD And at last, the anime reaches the Cosmog storyline. A lot of interesting stuff is coming for the next weeks :D |

| These last two episodes have been amazing, this is the Pokemon I love. The funny thing is, I don't remember that I liked Misty as much in the original series as I did here xD Misty vs Ash...AWESOME! Next episode looks promising. |
| Oh god, the terror. It never ended, it was just taking a nap. And it's ON THE PLANE!! So the battle begins, Mega Evolution vs. Z-move. Ancient Alolan Tradition vs. The Brainchild of NOT-French Alchemy. Though it was a draw, I was on Mega Evolution's side. And OH MY! Brock's a packing! He didn't skip leg day since he left the series. And for those of you who haven't noticed, Brock and Misty's pose are a call back to the Gen 1 games.   But once again, the writers paid a lot of attention to the in-game mechanics. For example, when Kiawe used Inferno Overdrive, of course Mega Steelix would have survived since it has been known for it's tremendous bulk. Though it clocks in 95 Sp. Def., it wasn't just lucky, it was bulky as F$#%!!! Also, in Misty's battle, she used the Rain Dance+Hurricane combo. Speaking of Misty's battle, it was awesome. Fitting that her Mega goes to her Gyarados. But, she did succumb to Ash's shounen bull...I mean, Cunning Tact and Speed (Yeah, that's what I meant to say) and couldn't hold up to Gigavolt Havoc. All in all, it was a great episode, the show's finally beginning to show more fluid battle animations and the battles were nothing short of awe inspiring. Next episode, we get a surprise visit from, what the...The Aether Foundation? Lusamine?! What are YOU doing in Kukui's house?! And why is JIGGLYPUFF flying on the plane to Alola?! Oh my GOD! Is the plot finally going to progress towards the Aether Foundation arc? Now I want to see where this goes. If the XY anime can make Team Flare awesome, I want to see what they do with Team Skull. Oh, umm, Spoiler alert, Team Skull's involved too. |

| Brock posing. That is all we really needed. Anyway, kinda underwhelming all in all. Dont get me wrong, it was nice seeing Brock and Misty again and I am quite pleased with these two episodes but you really could tell that they were really fighting against the episode time limit, too much to deal with. Shoulda probably just made it an 4 episode/month event to actually pace the episodes better. ... eh screw it, Brock and Misty being badass, i'm not gonna complain. 5/5 |

| I loved this episode, seeing the respect brock has for ash is crazy cool, and misty just being misty, cool af as well. Im glad the writers didnt do something stupid like make ash forget about mega evolution lmao. wish there was more episode with them though... confirmed jigglypuff vs lunala and solgaleo and jiglypuff wins with sing |

| This reminded me on the time when began watching Pokemon. Super hyped episode. The fights were absolute amazing and seeing Brock and Misty be able to mega evolve was super sick. I hope Prof. Kukui will be able to bring the Pokemon League to Alola. That's definitely something what is missing there. |
