So Tsugumi semi failed with her way to whistleblow the wrongdoings, wasn't shown but she probably did, just too late to prevent granny from pulling the string.
Bad editing or? Strawman returns to her room.
Granny lost some memory... before or after doing the curse? and how?

Really wonderful episode, it's great to see we've got some focus on Wanyuudou for once, pretty great development yet bittersweet! Let's see what's next.

Cool, we saw Tsumugi again.

It's quite sad that she sent that bitch to hell, because she'll follow her in no time..

Can someone explain why she buried her diaries though? Was it to maintain the dignified image of the other elders and keep their families from worrying? Hopefully Tsugumi and Kawahara (the trainee) have their own evidences.

Tsugumi is much older than in the original seasons. Does this story take place 15 years into the future?

Also nice to highlight the real issue of elder care abuse that goes on in the world.

It makes me sad to see these elderly people at the end of their lives having to deal with abusive assholes after being abandoned by their families. What makes things worse is most of them aren't able to speak up against such injustices because of them turning senile, fearing what might happen to them, or the self-harming consideration for not wanting their family to worry for them. Tamie and Sakura didn't deserve any of this.

Wanyuudou had the most heartwarming interaction he had in centuries and he couldn't do anything but watch because they aren't allowed to engage in human affairs unless it's contractual. Being forgotten really did look like it hurt... I just hope that Tsugumi sheds light on the abuses occurring in the retirement home through the evidence she's collected. It was nice to see her after so long too~

At first, I was half-expecting this episode to be balls-to-the-wall edgy like the previous episode.

Surprising to see Tsugumi in an episode that seems relatively unrelated to a story arc.

Lol, Wanyuudo has a love interest, but well, it was as short as his hair strand.

Well this was interesting. Even the elderly has their reasons for vengeance...

Such a fucked up world tbh with a home that abuses the elderly. The punishment session was my favorite part near the end :D

sh like this happens in real life to, elderly homes with abuse

As someone who worked, and never will again because it's exactly that attitudes -abuse collages have, I can tell for sure she was drugged on the day of inspection so she shuts the f up. I saw this many times in nursing homes when the nurses give medicine that makes the residents more sleepy or similar whenever they are too violent (aka, this IS legally allowed because THEY ARE putting themself or others in danger. Not a power abuse like this episode but due to dementia).

I don't want to end up someday in a home for the aged. I'll be sure to end my life before that time comes!
Tsugumi Shiibata grew up into a pretty woman!
