That was the most emotional scene after mamika died.
Alice NOT Alice.. omg this is so heartbreaking... damn it. T^T
well we all saw Selestia's hesitation coming miles away but I still didn't like it.
It's pretty tragic she end up paying the price though. :(
This is going to be the best anime I've seen this year.

Tbh,I didn't believe Blitz survive until now,I though he will died after Mamika but looking right now, blitz potentially being the survival, his relationship with Altair is good, it's gonna be sucks if we see Altair killed Blitz

So that's it Selesia will not having the second chances,I guess she will died in Charon hand next episode and it will be cool if Charon turning into a good side (I guess it's not gonna happen)

Hat Off for Alice, her died is painful and really cruel, even Altair mock her,her creator cry is more painful to watch, damn first getting bullied by Alice and now Cry Over Alice

So if this show get a cliffhanger ending like aldnoah it will be really sucks, but if there's second season I think Meteora, Magane,Charon, and Sho/Yuuya pretty much gonna show up also don't forget Erina

What the hell just happened?? Two deaths in one episode, I just started to like Aliceteria and I did not expect Selesia to die, since she's the main creation of the series and she's my favorite. The feels damn it! At first I was kind of amaze by Altair OP-ness, but this is getting ridiculous. Gosh I really hate her now, and Charon is fucking stupid. Altair cannot be beat physically, but only can by mentally.

Sure this episode was sad and all but can't shake off the feeling that none of these deaths will matter anyways cuz of some bullshit reason to just write them back alive etc by the end of it.

Wow. This episode was too much. I loved it.

I didn't like that both Alice and Selesia died in the same episode. I would rather have it happen in separate episodes, at least have Alice die earlier or later. It would be more memorable for her to reminisce her conversations with Mamika and what not but it's whatever, I still loved this episode.

Aliceteria had a surprising meta development, and while at first she's not one of my favorite for being a stubborn person, she snaps through, but her "forward" kind of personality kind of hit the hole like Mamika.... Sweet damn that hurt and I am honestly am sad to see her dead. :(

Since I am with everyone else in terms of their reactions (ironic that we are like like of these viewers), let me just say... This is an entire episode of heroism and sacrifises. It was so bittersweet, and we have a few more episodes to go.

(Though I can't help but amazed that a dating sim waifu getting funky magical martial arts power-ups can have her amazing moment too... It makes me love Hikayu as well for her development in such a quarter of her showtime...)

Can this anime seriously get the Award of 2017? Like... I know there are a lot of other goods ones, but having action, drama and a twist of our wildest dreams came in one package, and I wept in grieving imaginary tears over fictional characters...

And now, I am waiting for that trump card... Sota... What sort of idea did you put into this grand story... (And giving hope to the many little aritsts (like me) that is watching this anime...!)

WELP! We're F#$%ed! Time to pack up and bid adieu to this world and get our asses roasted while doing it!

WOW! They pulled NO punches in this episode. The death of Aliceteria was devastating and heart-breaking, even tearing up her creator who blames himself for not making a better hero out of her, and Altair's laugh might as well be backed up by THIS!

They even explore the accountability of the Creators in events in their world. "Fate with a personality attached to them", And this was said by Yuya! The guy who wields a Persona (Sho has the Stand) and gets drunk in Hot springs.
But nothing can beat the fight between Charon and Selesia. Now, Charon is a character from a light novel. At best, his characteristics is simple and one dimensional from what I can concur. But from this fight alone, he changed. Because of his 'one-dimensional' character, Altair was able to exploit this and use this to her advantage. And from that we can see how characters like him have flaws, outside of the context of this story. Charon here is an example of the Gary effect. Who's Gary you might ask? Why, this ASSHOLE of course!

But nothing could beat the grand ending than the episode's finale. Selesia and Charon have one more heart-to-heart talk and though Charon impaled her mech, she grabs on and hits the SELF DESTRUCT button. This tears the entire gang, as Selesia asks for forgiveness, since she believed it was her hesitance that screwed this plan over sideways. Her only last wish, is to fill her world with stories and coffee.
And the following destruction basically summed up my mind right there.
Selesia was a character introduced since Day 1 and to give her an exit like this, was a bold move. They gave us two types of deaths this episode, a tragic death, and an honorable death. And both of them were done right. So farewell Alice, and Selesia (for now, I think?) and remember folks.

You're gonna carry that weight

Meteora: I should have realised that more than one Creation per story could get transported to this world...
YOU SUMMONED ANOTHER CHARACTER FROM BLITZ'S WORLD NOT 2 EPISODES AGO!!! not someone else, METEORA!

Aliceteria stabs Altair with a spear. the attack is reversed.
Altair: let me tell you what happened.
Me: no, I get it, please go on.
Altair explains the most obvious power in detail. Ffs. also isn't this exactly Magane's power?

the mecha in this show, now that they've actually fought, are very disappointing. they have no actual weaponry, and are not designed the way Evangelion (upon which Kanoya and Gigas Machina are obviously based) is - no actual variety of weapons to fight a variety of opponents.

they did have the balls to kill Selesia though. a round of applause.

Heh. I couldn't care less for Aliceteria and Selesia deaths. Foolish characters. Keep on rekting 'em all nice and good, Altair.
Tho, Aliceteria's creator's cry was really powerful.

Pretty much stupid now how Charon isn't included in the second OP.

I hope they don't bring back Selestia and Alice. Even though I like them, and didn't expect Selestia to die, I think the story works better if they die this way and stay dead.

Hope the last few episodes don't become a "kill off all the characters" scenario. Killing the knight girl off? Really? Not cool.

I kind of feel like everyone will die except Altair and Souta's character, who is probably the manga/anime version of Altair's creator. She'll probably disappear once she accepts things instead of dying in a horrible way. With villains like Altair, dying isn't enough they need some talk no jutsu and coming to the realization that the world is beautiful even though there are still some painful moments.

She'll disappear along with Souta's character and Magane will be the last one standing.

That was such a stellar episode!

Even though it's cliche ridden anime, the direction in this episode was top notch.
The dialogues, the emotions, the animation, they had a good overall impact together. But I've have to really appreciate battle animation while I mention it second time. It made the experience more pleasing, aye.

Aliceteria's death had a good build-up. Sad the way she died :(

Idk why but I felt cucked the moment Selesia confessed to Charon lmao

Three creations ended up disappearing in this episode. I wonder if we'll get happy endings for the characters.

rip, two down on this episode, since those kind of attacks can't defeat her, I think the only thing that could affect her are the audience and her fans. So maybe because of those deaths she caused, they'll despise her resulting to weakening of her powers.

Not so sure about that. At this point, we're looking at the rest of the cast trying desperately to hold on while Souta cooks up whatever he has. Meteora will likely summon the character (since they don't need audience approval), and it's likely to be some variant of Shirotsumekusa, or even Shimazaki Yuna resurrected as a created who looks like Altair.

We have three clues to this:

1. In episode 14, we have Souta saying that he wants to "draw her so that it looks like the Altair she created"

2. The producers have hinted that Shimazaki is, in fact, the "main character" of the series

3. In episode 18, Magane explicitly asks Souta about creating a "fake god" that would surpass the real thing since it would be "based entirely on lies anyway."

Magane's survival is also guaranteed at this point, at least until the battle with Altair is done; her survival is now necessary for the entire plan to stop Altair (what remains of it anyway) to succeed, since all of the effects that she's built up disperse upon her death.

Yes, finally Altair will kill all creators againts her. I don't even upset Selesia's and Alice's deaths. They are good characters. But, Altair is absolutely right. This isn't their story. And They are just supporting characters in this one. Sad but true.

Now, I really wish Altair kills eroge girl, first. She is annoying. Yeah, Whatever. Later, she can kill whoever she want. Maybe, bromance duo? They have to die together, I think. Audience would love that. Lol, I am cruel, nowadays.

Altair really is pulling out all the stops to ensure that she will be victor in this struggle isn't she. Despite the turning of Blitz, Sho and Alice to our side Altair is still surprisingly holding strong and now with the addition of Charon things are only just escalating. So Charon was the contact that they ended up missing. Without a doubt Altair i think does believe that she is a god. So Charon is aiding Altair because he wants to save his world then. Yuya really did a good job in convincing Sho to help them defeat Altair instead though. Selesia's attempt to convince Charon must be painful for her though as taking up arms against him means that she's betraying him and the kingdom. Wow to think Altair actually led Alice into a trap real crafty there. Damm and we lose another of our allies to Altair's cunning. RIP Alice. The pain that her creator must feel at seeing a character that he create get killed and vanish before his eyes must be horrible. Hikayu just kicking Charon's mecha back as he charged at them sure was pretty badass. Hikayu's speech to convince Selesia was actually pretty good.

Drawing in her personal feelings really makes her that much believable. Hikayu just standing up to Altair really highlights how brave she is and how determined she is to finish this. The teamwork for the four sure is impressive for the first team up though. Hikayu really has become quite the powerhouse as a result of not just her creator but also because she found the courage and determination that she needed. Rui is really putting every effort that he has in the fight against Charon but his words too him were just as effective. Its nice that despite having to face someone dear to her Selesia is at least able to understand that all of her allies and friends are relying on her to protect this world and that this world has its beauty as well. The only person that can fight Charon is Selesia after all and man their dual sure was beautiful. Its really sad that the two have to fight against each other though. This was a solid and a really impressive episode and a damm emotional one as well. Man i never expected that Selesia will sacrifice herself to stop Charon. Selesia's goodbyes to her friends and allies was pretty sad and powerful though.

I see it going slightly differently.

I think Magane specifically told Sota there was no god that could save the Creators, except themselves, and the easiest way to do that was to lie.

Someone still has to be convinced to let Sota loose. None of the others know what happened on that balcony. My take is that Matsubara is the Director of this little Birdcage – Meteora is watching the “steam gauge”. So that could take half an episode; more if the Creators get into a dispute.

Also, because Sota wasn’t there when the Creators were talking about Shirotsumekusa, he may not even know Altair is a secondary creation. This makes Shimazaki look better as his solution.

In episode 9 where Magane fights Marakuji, Meteora specifically says that Magane’s “reversal” is permanent, “probably until Magane dies”. But Meteora has been wrong before when she has used the word “probably”.
So while the effects may or may not disperse on her death, her survival does appear to be guaranteed until her part is done, though not necessarily the battle. And if Magane’s effects dissipate when she dies, Sota is left back where he started. So he has to try to pull off his surprise FIRST.

I still think Sota is going to invoke Magane (with the pendant) to reverse something Altair says, once his own grand surprise fails, but that’s just me. Maybe Magane will already be there to see Altair's face, and Sota just leverages the moment.

Finally, all the creations have to die. Either they all die when Altair succeeds (because Altair’s goal is to destroy all worlds), or they AT BEST go back to their own stories. Since a lot of creations wandering about when the worlds are healed would leave a lot of lose ends, the easiest way to deal with it is to kill them all in this fight rather than tearful goodbyes in episode 22.

She is not an edge lord some seem to think she is. She and her feelings are as real as any of you and as real as Selesia and everyone is. When she is overflowing with feelings, conflicting even, she can't keep the cool anymore. Just like when she burst into rage when Alicetaria charged her.

Even till now, I can't fully comprehend her true motives. The story is narrated to make her look like revenge. And I strongly believe she (Altair) is not conflicted in feelings. She has a good grip on herself. She really is manipulative and likes to trigger people LOL.
Just my opinion. I'm not a devoted fan of this series so I don't take it comprehensively.

To be fair, she was always going to disappear sometime, as the world can't remain "stable" with contradictory beings breaking the laws of the universe all the time. Altair, Magane, and whatever Souta creates will definitely be the last three to go.

Order of character deaths over the next three episodes will likely be this:

Rui-->Hikayu-->Sho and Yuuya-->Blitz (Altair breaks out of bird-cage)-->Meteora and possibly some of the creators in stadium-->Altair-->Magane-->Souta's creation.
