That flashback though. What happened to the 2 second flashbacks? This anime really treats its viewers like alzheimer patients.

Easily one of the best episodes so far, from the actual fight itself which felt like and epic teaser of what's to come and Ma and Sakaki intervening at the end.

Wow, the degree to how stupid that was is hard to put into words. This was deadass one of the worst episodes from this anime. After being pissed one moment, to the point we were given a (awesome) flashback , Kisara just decides to leave Kenichi alone, and now randomly has respect for him for the same thing she hated him for last episode.

Hermit is a terribly written character. He did all this concealing and now, all of a sudden, he just doesn't care anymore and decided to fight Kenichi. Overall, the reveal was nothing short of terrible. It was immediately obvious during the play "brawl" who he really was and there were tons of giveaways that took away from the anticipation. It was a waste of time and an insult to my intelligence to wait so long to show him and try to make it dramatic as if I couldn't piece together the obvious.

Another issue I have with this episode, particularly the dialogue: Up to his point, the idea of real death, and killing people, has not really come up, mainly due to the stories lighthearted nature. But now, out of the blue, its being introduced with no real gravity. Like Kenichi is facing the possibility of death, but the anime is still portraying this silly, joky-joke tone.

The action sequences were good tho....

Kenichi needs to understand that the only way to convince some of his adversaries to stand back is to beat the crap out of them instead of doing the "Talk no Jutsu" *Sigh*

Apachai was great, but I didn't really care for the rest of it. The Hermit reveal was so obvious they didn't need to spend so much time on it. The Hermit was a lot weaker than I was expecting, "losing" to Kenichi who already got beat up by Sara a little earlier. Makes it kind of hard to take any future Ragnarok threats seriously.

So they finally revealed that the blonde dude is Hermit and no one was surprised at all. It's retarded how they always talk about "killing" Kenichi, like dude... if you killed him, your ass would be in prison faster than Sakaki runs a marathon.
