Not bad for this episode. First half felt slightly boring as the group came together to sum up more ideas and plans. I do find it interesting that the show introduces characters from other countries. The Engrish though...

Pacing slowed this episode but I think it's important for Koharu and the others as it gives them some more time to make their next move and reflect their recent results.

Again a lot of Spanish in this episode and i didn't understand a thing of it.
Anyway it was clear that they weren't bad people they where just there isn search of some mystery and it seems they found it judging the reaction of the older characters.
It was funny seeing them hit on that girl.
Also the photo's the other girl showed Ririko where nice.

Nice episode.

Looks like the Spanish people didn't mean any trouble. They were actually here to investigate UMA of all things.

I really liked the part where Lucia showed Ririko the pictures of all her adventures. She might've gotten Ririko interested in leaving Manoyama and even joining their group.

Things were going pretty slowly till that ending, I'm super intrigued by the mystery and past of this lake. Combined with the mysterious soundtrack and the final conversations, I'm really really interested in learning more.

Also, Sandal wins Play of the Game for that next level life saving throw. xD

Guess whose really happy knowing that Manoyaman Chupakabura got fampus even when it's just through fan-made website (I wonder if I'm referring that Website right). But seriously talk about Chupakabura, that Kadota drowning scene is hilarious.

Of course the Spanish speaking people didn't come to cause harm. They "come in peach"

Sandal-san with that throw was something. Old man Kadota drowning was funny.

That ending and the soundtrack with it makes it seem like old man Kadota committed murder and is trying to hide the evidence.

Great episode. Had some really funny and nice moments with the Spanish people, I loved it.

This episode gave some hints for a good mystery. Kadota has been hiding something for a long time and doesn't want it to be revealed. The Spanish people are amusing. They came to Manoyama to investigate UMAs.

I wonder what Kadota is trying to hide in the pond. Either it's something that's hugely embarrassing for him, or it's something that could jeopardise any chance for Manoyama to attract any future tourists in great numbers.

Whatever it is though, I'm sure the next episode will explain Kadota's past in detail and about more of the mysterious object in the pond.

The Spanish tourists were friendly after all, although they did have the message "We come in peach" on their shirts thanks to a small typo. A few others in their group knew the English language, so seeing two of the Manoyama regulars trying to flirt and impress them in English was pretty funny. =)

Overall, this was another great episode. =D

Nice to see all those Spanish people having a good time.

Ririko is having a lot of thoughts about leaving and exploring the world.

I have no idea what's going on at the pond but it's made me very excited for the next episode.

About half way through the episode, with the combination of how Kadota was acting and the draining of the pond, and Don McLean's song "American Pie" started playing through my head. I'm sure it has no bearing on the story, but...

Los españoles de los últimos dos capítulos hablan muy raro. La pronunciación está bien, pero fallan un poco en coherencia.
--------------------------------------------------
The Spanish people speak too weird. The spelling is correct, but lack a bit of coherence. I laughed when (In episode 14) one of them said

"Oye, creo que se han asustado."

and the other one

"¿Pero por qué habrán huído? Si somos muy simpáticos."

It means:

"Hey, I think they got scared."

"But why did they ran away? We're very kind."

It lacks coherence because until then nobody had run away.

And then with the Chupakabra mask and the "Woah, como mola."

I really like this show (Even with the retarded spanish, which makes it funnier).

Ok tinfoil hat theory on the thing in the pond.

Kadota was in love with Riris grandma and wanted to propose. As he was a wood carver he made a sculptur. But riris grandma took someone else, so he needed it to be gone. He threw it into the pond.

Thats why he is also mocking her so often.

Its happened twice now. Young Japanese girls have been scarred by Mexicans twice now. What they really need is a wall. (I'd like to assume that most people wouldn't take this seriously, but for those who do, I don't mean this. I'm playing. It's Joke.)

Also OMG THAT ENGRISH MY GOD. It was fantastic. I loved it. Played it over like 5 times. Also, that was one heck of a cliff hanger, I wonder what that thing is.

The Engrish was cringy but delicious! Favorite part was the "Please wedding me!".
Since I don't understand Spanish, I don't understand a single thing that the cryptids said except Hola! LOL.
So Ririko never went outside of Manoyama. That's interesting.
I wonder what Kadota is hiding and what is that thing in the pond? Some mystery element is added now.
Looking forward to the next episode.

I want this mystery to be as super serious, dire and intense as they are making it seem but I know it's inevitably just an "oh Kadota, you're such a crazy old man!" kind of thing.

All I can say is I really hope that old coot is the girl in this band.

Eh, a few things happening at once. It kind of annoyed me that the Spanish people were speaking Engrish. but they did have a couple of Spanish lines at the end.

Ririko is thinking that she wants to see what's beyond Manoyama. This hasn't been fleshed out yet but it'll be a continuing theme I'm sure.

Kaidou has some deal with a Chupakabra or whatever. It could be funny. I guess he has his reasons. Maybe some Manoyama history to be revealed.

She should have at least said "Hola Rrririko" which is how a Spanish person would spell Ririko.

That Ending turns into mystery quite fast, especially when the soundtrack kicks in...
I had a feeling that Ririko had something in mind to leave Manoyama too see the worlds at one point after seeing Lucia's photos. But that just my thinking.

The Engrish hurts to hear for me, but Sandal-san did a great job saving the old man by that great throw. Good Episode... We probably will see more about Kadota-san in the past soon enough in the next episode. Can't wait.

The universal language of UMA and Sandal saved the day. Of course, the serious segments didn't disappoint either, developments regarding the B&B prospects were fairly entertaining. The hints regarding the past of the elder cast intrigued me, I still believe the revelation will be somewhat silly (particularly given that old man's involvement), though.

Lucia was also really cute.

Another solid episode. I can't say I'm riveted by what the chief's whole deal is now. But I did think the foreign visitors was an interesting touch. The creator of this series seems very interested in Spanish culture. What with first his re imagining of the Chupacabra legend. And now having some Spanish speaking characters showed up, voiced by actual Spanish speakers no less. I don't know how much involvement he had in Shirobako. Though the art and character designs look similar and they're both PA Works. But I can't help thinking of Andes Chucky.

I really liked Ririko's arc. I used to travel a lot with my family when I was younger. But haven't left my state in almost three years. I don't mean to go on a tangent. But her spontaneous wanderlust really spoke to me. She's kind of become my favorite character. I find myself relating to her more and more.

-the whole cryptid twelve thing is so ridiculous it's great
-help i can't breathe
-i love all the engrish
-wait i literally just realized this episode that orange hair in the tourism bureau is the voice of kokichi
-doku's pretty great
-turns out lucia was able to ward against demise
-all the cryptid hunters are pretty adorable actually
-big wig kadota can't swim
-also where were those surveillance cameras mounted
-i can't believe the chief is fucking dead
-did this show change genres or something
-huh, sandal dude used the french pronunciation of harlequin in the next episode preview

This episode was pretty standard in terms of plot progression, with a couple of comedic moments sprinkled here and there, and a ton of Engrish. All the moments with the tourists were extra adorable.
