| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Sweet, this show got a new OP song! I like it and it has more action clips. Thought the fight between Deku and Gran Torino was fun to watch. Stain's conversations with Tomura and Kurogiri was noticable this episode as well. Really intimidating dialogues. Pretty much more of a buildup episode of this arc. It looks like most of the heroes are keeping up in shape I can't help but laugh at Mineta's work though Nice to also see Uwabami show up :D |

We've got a very interesting new opening this week, I like it! Nice touch with Deku's opening narration. Anyway, Young Midoriya has met Gran Torino at last! And while the old master may have a screw or two loose his impressive speed is nothing to joke about! Horikoshi, the series' author, wrote in a character profile about him that Gran Torino gave off a "Dagobah feeling." An obvious nod to Yoda, yet another Star Wars reference in a series full of them. And it's pretty easy to see why this episode. Just as Yoda taught Luke Gran Torino is trying to show Izuku another way to look at how he uses his power. And I'd say the results look promising so far. Who knew taiyaki held such a power? :D I do so love the unconventional old master character archetype and Gran Torino's one of my favorites. Gotta love seeing him make All Might spew. :D The mini character profile commercial cards are also a welcomed addition. Of course Young Midoriya's isn't the only student internship currently going on, and it's nice to see some glimpses into some of the others. I definitely love Best Jeanist, the Number 3 err 4? Hero, attempting to reform Bakugo. :D While Uraraka admires Gunhead and Momo shows perhaps too much faith in Uwabami. :D And then there's Iida, still out for vengeance. There were even several the manga didn't really show. Another fine example of anime expansion material. And of course the world continues to turn even while the students remain hard at work. Hero Killer Stain and Shigaraki had a pretty intense meeting for instance. Pretty cool new fantasy ed too, hope we keep up that momentum as Midoriya challenges Gran Torino once more! |

| Good buildup episode, really looking forward to what this upcoming arc has to offer. I have to give BONES a huge thank you for that ED, I love how they used the art Hori used for the second character poll. Even better, Deku still has his shoes in the fantasy world to continue off a mini joke. |

| Splendid episode. Love the new OP song. Great visuals to come in this arc. ED song is great as well. Nice idea showing character profiles in the eye catch. Gran Torino may be old, but he is fast & strong. Deku working on how to control One for All is great. So cool seeing One for All going throughout his body. Nice seeing Best Jeanist & other Pro Heroes with the students. Kendou is looking great in her Hero costume. Stain disapproving of Shigaraki's way. LOL Shigaraki in the preview. Didn't even say Plus Ultra! Deku so scared. Looking forward to the new arc. Plus Ultra! |

| Interesting intro summary eps, we learn the circumstances of everyone, what kind of person torinori is, how izuku is moving forward on the right path. Also, All for one being called "sensei" and saying how shigaraki needs to mature and how to educate him, it seems like we r seeing a comparison of the two teachers, all for one teaching shigaraki to take his spot as the next villain head, and all might teaching izuku to be the next symbol of peace. Lets see which teacher is better. And everytime i see Best Jeanist i just think of unzipping his pants and automatically expecting to see a dick out of his mouth TwT   It seems like this season will include the student vs teacher fight. Can't wait to see Momo's development.   I really like bakugo's tattoo. I wonder where i can get one... "Go beyond!" "I won't go." "Go beyond!!!" "I won't go." | The new OP was just okay, but the new ED was amazing. I did not expect them to bring that fantasy spread from the manga to life. Gran Torino's voice actor is cool and I liked Best Jeanist's presentation. Also Stain's hatred towards Shigaraki should give some idea to people on what kind of a character he's like. |
| Loved the new opening! It pretty much confirms the anime will cover the End of Term Test arc. The animation was great this episode. I particularly loved the scene where Yoda-sensei was blitzing around Midoriya. They also seem to be using the intermission to show the characters bios from the manga cover pages. That's a good idea to give anime-onlies some info they've been missing. Also that ending! They used Horikoshi's fantasy drawings from the 2nd popularity polls! That was great to see! |

| I liked Bakugou restrained by Best Jeanist but I doubt that he will manage to change his personality. Deku learned something new, maybe we won't see him break his bones from now on. |

| Great episode as always. Hero Internships are finally underway and it's pretty cool seeing what all of our young heroes are doing. Bakugou's internship might not exactly be what he wanted. XD Snake lady knows what's up. selecting Momo and Itsuka cause they are cute. XD Anyway we finally get to see more of Gran Torino and I really like how he assesses Deku by dropping him various hints to controlling his power, It was also interesting his comparison of Deku to All Might and how the latter's form of training will probably not work for Deku. Watching Deku train outside was great and after the Taiyaki incident, Deku might finally be on his way towards controlling his power, even if it's only 5% of it. They do kinda spoil it in the OP though. XD New OP and ED are awesome, If I'm not wrong all the outfits from the ED is the exact same one from the results of the 2nd popularity poll, pretty cool of Bones to use them. |

| The ED is pretty cool, love those JRPG designs. This episode was mostly setup, but I enjoy training arcs, most of the hero students have to go out of their comfort zones for their internships. |

| Best opening of this series so far! Liked seeing all of the different students doing their internship. Midoriya has finally unlocked his super saiyan form! I'm hyped to see it in action. This guy really does love his desserts lol  |

| To say that a Hero Academia episode is good is to normal, So i'll skip that as it was fantastic as usual. Gran Torino was funny and badass at the same time, Midoriya was smart to figure it out so quickly. Love the look of him when he uses One for all throughout his body! The opening and ending were both amazing! The opening is getting alot of hate for some reason, shit taste I guess. The ending is a LISA song so it can't go wrong! The visuals for the ending blew me away cause they used the fantasy characters that Horikoshi drew for the 2nd popularity pool! |

| The new OP and ED are pretty good, I was really hoping for another song from Porno Graffitti though, but whatever. Mostly a setup training episode but it's nice to see Deku finally making progress on how to control his Quirk. Seeing what the rest of the class was up to was also a good sight to see. |

| Gran Torino is really amusing and pretty badass. His battle skills really gave Midoriya a hard time and told him bluntly about the faults that Midoriya keeps on making when he fights. So, it was a good thing that Midoriya took Gran Torino's criticisms to heart and eventually, he was able to finally control the One For All power at the end. Nicely done! =D As for the songs, the new OP is good and relaxing to listen, but the previous OP song is better. The ED song by Lisa is as good as I was hoping for it to be. Nice use of the fantasy setting for the ED animation too. =) Great episode overall. |

| I don't like the new OP, but at the same time I like it...The ED is so-so. Oooh Midoriya is the 9th holder, I didn't think there would be so many before him. It was nice to see the others as well each doing their individual courses with pro heroes. Gran Torino made me curious about Seventh now. |

Gran Torino's really cool and I love how he's both senile and competent. Lol, Best Jeanist's gonna straighten up Bakugou. And it's good that Todoroki decided to go with Endeavor, since he's a skilled hero who works on bigger situations. Next episode, time for... 5/5 Also, OP basically confirms that they'll adapt the ac after the Hero Killer/Field Training Arc. Can't wait to see that fight in that arc. |

| Absolutely loved this episode! A lot of build-up with so much humor... I had to watch this 24 minute episode in 30 minutes, because I had to pause quite often just to laugh for a bit... especially at the end. The visuals were great as always and the grandpa is amazing! The cliffhanger though... aaah!! 5/5 |
