| You think so? I've been collecting doujinshi for years. It's pretty standard pricing, actually. I paid even more for mine. XD It was totally worth it too. Nobody can put a price on the wedding of my OTP ♥ HA. If you paid only $33 for the manga series, you got off really easy! In America, translated manga is around $10 a volume; the Japanese raw ones are slightly less. I'll just find somewhere to read it for free online. Dunno if that's even possible yet.....many manga reader sites ignore doujinshi....and for Arina's sake, I hope it stays that way since the money goes straight to her and self-publishing is really expensive. |

| It's not ridiculous. That's just how the world of doujinshi is. It is art. In the USA, every vendor who carries them at conventions charge about that much. Like I said..... Seeing that was more important to me than the price......mostly because I've wanted to see it for over a decade. XD |

| At this point, prompting people to buy the book for the sake of "giving money to the author" is pointless. Doujinshi doesn't work like regular manga, they're limited releases. Once it's gone, it's gone, unless Arina herself chooses to reprint. And in this particular case, the book is sold out in all official stores; only way to get it is buying it second hand. And that money certainly doesn't go to Arina. That said, I do own the doujinshi, got it straight from Toranoana. Doujinshi is an expensive hobby; unless you know how to get the books from Japan itself, $20 is pretty much standard price. So, can I have the translation? :) |
