Wow. How old is Diana exactly? And I thought that the Moonrace didn't have contact in many thousands of years with the Earth? The plot is a more lot compplex than I thought.

I wonder about that too. Anidb says 1000, don't know how precise is that though

Wait huh? Now time travel is involved? Diana was on Earth in the past? This makes no sense.

This episode reminds me of The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.
Diana said that she slept for long by cold sleep.

It makes a lot of sense. From what we know so far, Dianna is something like 1000's of years old and had a romance with a Sir Will Game when she was on Earth before. I'm not sure how that is hard to understand and I definitely don't know where you got the idea of time travel.

Interesting episode to say the least. I like that there has been very little filler so far.

Well if she's a normal human, then she can't live for a 1000 years, something else had to happen here.

To be honest with you, I kind of regret ever even defending this show. I've turned out to not really care for it.

It gets explained later, but if you had only watched to this point, its confusing as hell.

This fight beetwen the Gundam and the WaD was pretty the best one in the show so far. It was one of the rare moments where the animations was good.

And lol poor Diana. I didn't know she went to Earth already. Too bad her love story ended like this. I want to know the real reason why the Moonrace left Earth.

If this was victory gundam I would have to say that a boob touch like that probably wont end well for the red head lady.

It clearly said she was frozen in a cryso-stasis, but its crazy how she was previously living on earth, I kind of have an idea on why she strongly resembles the other girl.

Pretty romantic Diana story, but I hope that it was not meaningless information for the whole plot and it would somehow affect the story

Poor Diana. Her lover died before he could see her again, and she never knew until now. :(

At least now she has something to remember him by.

I am seriously questioning the attention span of certain people writing in those sections...

A pretty good personal story for Diana, who teaches us that she was left in cryogenic state and that she actually visited the Earth once before! Pretty weird to have its leader "sleep" for probably dozens if not hundreds of year. And I am not sure how intelligent this decision to have her resided on Earth long ago was, it is potentially a leap of logic.

4/5

@CodeBlazeFate I thought you watched it a long time ago but it was only a year ago. ^^"

It's good that the show is developing our heroes through conversations rather than through fights (at least not predominantly).

You can feel the wariness of a Tomino (Gundam) veteran through this simple line. (Sorry for the useless quote)

So confused until the cyrosleep drop. So was the moon race just w/o their leader for centuries? Why was she on earth previously and why did she leave?

Loved the camera animation of Diana backdrop from the birds in the birdcage. Nicely done.

Looks like Loran was pretty disapponted that his breakfast was just a standard militia pack instead of being cooked by Diana-Kiehl :( Apart from that, the poor boy had a bad dream

The show threatens Loran's vital organs again, now with a stone

So, Diana finally gets some backstory and is confirmed as the second character after Corin to experience cryogenesis. I suspect it was reserved for "important" people and for punishments. Showing Diana jumping in slow motion was a nice artistic choice to make her "float"

I almost expected the onsen scene to turn into a similar thing from Victory...alas it took another direction. It's good that the show is taking more of a character-based approach in comparison to other Gundams, developing our heroes through conversations rather than through fights (at least not predominantly).

Were people using badly made subtitles in the past? Dianna clearly says she was put in cryostasis, it's pretty easy to understand what happened.
I also agree that it's nice to see devolopment through dialogues rather than just through battles. The latter are also pretty good since there's a lot of brawl involved. I hope Loran never finds a working gun, the constant pew pew made a lot Gundam battles so boring...

Loved this episode, and I'm very interested in discovering more about Dianna, the plot is becoming good.
Also, there are very good battles in this show.
