| @Kuma You were right, it was the lady from the auction, but didn't think that we'll see her so soon. On other hand what's the definition of soon for this manga. Nice that Stella visiting Chise quite often, was funny to see her scolding Chise for her recklessnes, surely Chise was happy to see her and got invited to the birthday party. And Happy Birthday Chise! I think that the witch Mariel wants to help, but kinda obvious that it won't be as easy as she described it, but witches help might be the only way (perhaps the closest) to help Chise and Elias admitted it. And well, Cartaphilus not helping the cause. |

| This chapter was full of deception and deceit. One of the best chapters of this manga so far! I cannot believe Chise has only until next spring to live. I hope the witch helps her. Not just hope. I want the witch to help her. Ellias is willing to caste his pride aside for once, too. :( |

| so people who recognize the witch like that as their mom has had bad experiences with their parents? mothers i assume. if i remember right Stella's parents looked normal but maybe they are adoptive parents |
