| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So Misuzu still has a bad impression of Chuuta... The episode was okay but I thought it got pretty weird when some weird alien thing got onto Misuzu's face. Chuuta is able cleverly get that thing off though so I guess I'm somewhat impressed. Just admit it Misuzu Looks like something sinister could be approaching. |

| Dayum, Chuta fucked up big getting his aunt hospitalized like that! That felt at odds tonally with the rest, way too serious. Then again this show does casually talk about murder. The bright colors and goofy humor/character designs do seem to clash at times pretty wildly with the more serious subject matter. Oh well, at least he got a peak at Misuzu's panties and cleavage! XD Plus Ice Beam! XD 2 parter incoming... |
| I love the quirky character designs, and Misuzu's sternness—it's amusing. As far as things that I don't love, Chuuta's indecisiveness is becoming obnoxious, and the melodrama with his aunt was laid on relatively thick. Hopefully Chuuta doesn't try to quit again in the next episode. This show has potential, but it's lacking focus. 4/5 |

Sad that Chuta got his Aunt hospitalized like that. :( The bubblegum alien inside the small truck was pretty funny. xD Wow, did not expect that bubble gum alien to be killed off just like that with such a huge explosion. Big things come in small packages I suppose. :3 We got some good Misuzu service this episode. :) All that aside, I think my favorite part of the episode was when his Aunt cried over Chuta having finally made a friend. I thought that scene alone was better than everything else in this episode. Also Drew really needs to stop commenting on everything, I don't mind him commenting for comedic effect but commenting on Chuta's personal development makes it seems like the show wants to force us or even Chuta's character himself into believing he is developing/changing. Such things are best left to be subtly realized by the viewer cause that's when you make that personal connection to a character. The other way to do it is through monologues/realization by the character himself, A different character would also work as long as they don't keep commenting on it every few minutes (like what happens here). I don't know, I guess I just felt that the final scene with Chuta realizing how elDLIVE will change is life would have been so much better had Drew not been commenting on Chuta's state of mind throughout the episode. |

| Im really struggling with this one. On one hand the plot is tolerable. On the other hand the two leads are not. The girl is way too obnoxious. Unlikable main characters only work if they display mannerisms that break character. The girl is just flat out mean all the time. Even if it is out of concern for the little shit I am getting quite tired of her attitude. We should have learned from Endride how far unlikable characters can get you. Next we have the little shit who falls perfectly into the mold of a character that only works on paper. Whiny and annoying voice aside, that kind of character works because you can project your insecurities onto them. In animated form the character is given life and it ruins what the character is supposed to represent. The series isn't bad enough to drop, but it will be difficult to enjoy this one to the end. |

| Hmm an murder to start the episode eh Hmm it seems something sinister is heading towards the sol system hmm well giving them normal weapons would be pointless as they are dealing with criminals that are immune to them anyway Watching Chuuta grow by the episode is fun to watch though lol so the secret power of life is actually smell well SPH lol timely entrance from Misuzu there to lead Chuuta away from his fantasy Lol Chuuta and Drew Drew keeps putting his thoughts into actual words lol So Misuzu has a bad impression of Chuuta eh lol lol Drew can be useful in compensating Chuuta though like in that match Lol the expression of the goalkeeper though But its nice that Chuuta's getting more confident and in turn gaining more friends though. It seems that Misuzu is also noticing. Hmm it seems that his over eagerness got his aunt hurt though Being eager is fine but overeager is also a bad thing to see hmm it makes sense that they aren't allowed to use their powers as part of their every day lives though considering its power But to think that Misuzu would take care of the memory altering this time Being nice has its own rewards i guess Its nice to see Chuuta realize that his abilities can also hurt people as well Lol thats a lot of food that he made hmm to think that Chuuta's well being is what motivates his aunt's hard work But its also heartwarming to see this as well Even his aunt recognizes that Chuuta's personality has changed in that he's happier and more confident But its nice that his aunts words have woken him up from his depression Well since that thief was the one that caused him to hurt his aunt of course Chuuta would want to bring him down lol die without a trace Misuzu is as cold as ever Lol so Moon guy is the sensor specialist eh lol the 50k person to see his arms so the moon guy doesn't wish for his arms to be seen eh hmm bringing personal feelings into a case is a bad thing But in this case its that which is motivating Chuuta in his willingness to investigate the case. Lol interesting comparison that Chuuta used though Hmm so the alien had stole bubblegum eh lol and that species of alien does actually look like gum as well lol But man killing someone over gum seems a bit far fetched lol using his chin to hit the keys as well Moon guy surprises me every time lol Drew's pretty observant eh Misuzu still doesn't Chuuta enough eh lol so that explains the size of that truck the alien is pretty small lol So Chuuta's attack made him lose his ability to get bigger eh Lol fighting a bubble gum enemy can be quite tricky Hmm so despite being saved bu Chuuta Misuzu still isn't accepting Chuuta Pride perhaps Lol but Misuzu repaid that debt by saving him as well hmm self destruct eh so the organisation that elDLIVE is fighting against finally shows themselves lol Chuuta's aunts overreaction at seeing Chuuta make a friend Its nice to see that Chuuta is now committed to elDLIVE though A pretty good episode Its nice seeing Chuuta's character develop over the series and his powers evolve and at the same time being more confident in himself. Chuuta and Drews interactions are as funny as ever and its nice seeing them bond with one another. Chuuta's relationship with Misuzu is progressing slowly but its nice to see that she is starting to acknowledge him. Still can't wait to see her ice queen personality melt though. The case this episode featured was actually quite interesting in that it was connected to the major villain of this series and was a great way to introduce that threat to the main characters. The villain himself was quite funny being a talking bubblegum like alien. Still his death by self destruct was a hell of a way to go and a great warning to the main characters. |

| Chuta got cocky and his aunt injured. They overdid it with the drama. He decides to catch the thief with Misuzu. How he saved her was quick thinking. At least she thanked him properly. Looks like, that the real threat is approaching Earth. |
