Well, the song is the same, but a little bit different. Why is that? Anyone know?

i dont believe so. on the nanbaka twitter they tweeted a video of some guy singing the theme but slightly differently and it seems they used his version for now.

Oh thank gawd it isn't just me. I kept thinking "Wow, I'm not enjoying this song the way I used to" so I checked to see if they had changed the band, but they hadn't.

Ah well, hopefully this arrangement is more pleasing to other people (maybe you, I don't know). I'm just happy I wasn't going insane thinking it was different.

The reason why The super ball's didn't sing the op this time was that they went to sing the ED of ēlDLIVE, a show that is currently airing in winter 2017.

I didn't even realize how much a change of vocals could cause me to groove or cease to move.;; Nanbaka 2016 best OP. And like, it's not awful or anything, there was just a little more soul in the prior version.

1 singer/band is entitled to only 1 Opening or ending per season (Unless they are doing both the opening and ending in 1 anime).

Seiyuus might sing more then 2 if they are singing by their role/invloved in a band:

Example 1: Ohashi Ayaka is performing the opening to Masamune-Kun no revenge. However, she is also in Poppin' party, a seiyuu group for the anime BanG Dream.

Example 2: Amamiya Sora is performing the ED to Konosuba as her character Aqua, while she is also performing the OP to Demi Chan Wa Kataritai as a member of Trysail.

However, I believe they might start to change the system since the band "After the Rain" Is revealed to be performing in The OP for the anime Atom: "The Beginning" and the ED of the anime "Clockwork Planet", where both are airing in Spring 2017.

I didn't even notice that.. The voices sound pretty same from the part of first 'uuu' background sound(when Jugo unlock the door)

I agree with Cupucakes, Super Ball only sing the first part of the 2nd season song's voice is more 'fitting' than the 1st season version.

Do you have a source for this?
Here's what I found from reddit

Sounds like nonsense. Pretty sure you can find many cases where an artist performed for more than one show at the same time.
Out of my head right now, Mizuki Nana sang the 2nd ending for Cross Ange which aired at the same season as the Dog Days's 3rd season, which she performed the opening theme. Both songs aired Winter 2015, and she's not listed as her character in either show.
