So that was it huh?

Honestly, this chapter didn't really feel very finale-ish. Those memory photos though.

It's a good way to wrap things up. This is the type of manga that just lifts your spirit and you can't help but smile while you read through it.

I thought the ending was good for the kind of manga it was.
Not every romance story needs to end with a kiss.
Will miss this manga :'(

As much as I would have wanted something a little more "sentimental" and "emotional" for an ending, it does feel at it's right place.
And beside, such moments of ultimate romantic softness already happened in chapters 57/58 .

So warm and fluffy.. I really loved reading this manga.

Pure from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would gladly recommend it to anyone that's fed up cheesy romance titles.

this totally surprised me. i did not expect to like an ecchi romance manga, but here i am. to be honest, the ecchi didn't take away much because it was done tastefully. glad there was no drama and i personally loved the ending

Meh what a way to wrap it up for a rather good manga (Anime When??)

Why do authors not give a decent ending or leave things open? I mean its your story so finish it lol

The first chapter made me think that this will be ecchi manga. I expected some lewd moments tbh. I guess the author decided to make it lighthearted and laid back romance instead. Good read anyway.

// I just saw a post on reddit about this manga and decided to read it, why not.
Well.. this is just.. not what I expected about the final? I don't know how to express it since my english vocabulary is kind of limited, but also because I felt specific emotions with the final.
I'm not gonna lie, Fujiyama-chan is a pretty well character, she's intelligent, strong and also very sentimental. That's the contrary of Kanda, who's an idiot.. but in a good way. They complement each other and because of that they made a strong relationship. The final is sort of ambiguous since we don't really know the end of the story between these 2 characters, but I guess a change from the same kiss or the same sex scene is well recieved.
I don't hate the final, I don't love the final, I'm just.. indiferent.

there is something in this manga something .It has no drama neither a a solid plot, essential for the works of this decade or the later half of the previous decade...

But it has that magic, that magic which encapsulates any viewer to feel the pain which we felt when we are at that age and living the "good times"..From the vivid details of the lazy sultry scenery to the warmth emanating from first love...
Feel gut wrenched that it has ended but at the same time there's a sense of fulfillment..
Live long and grow old together Fujiyama Makio and Kanba Yuuichi ❤️

flow naturally like life, wish the ending more impactful tho. 8/10.

It was very good, the kiss was missing at the end, romance without a kiss? mainly in the end? minus one point. It was not complete: like graduating from high school, showing them in the future married with children. (a complete story)

Well, it is a look back at everything that has taken place, isn't it. I quite like how this ended. But as said with ^, it was missing that kiss, wasn't all that needed, but it would have been better.

Good manga just has really pointless lewd shots that are outdated relative to this. But I like how real this is. Ojiro Makoto is a great author, one of the best romance writers.

That was a nice, wholesome story. I enjoyed it. Wish it has some kind of solid conclusion but, I don't mind ending it this way.

I enjoy the details of the scenery and place that the author draw, he did a great job in immersing me into the atmosphere of the story.

This really lifts my mood up, it's great. 9/10

A solid casual focused style of the couple simply hanging out and being in love.
In a span of months from second to third years, aside from finally officially being revealed as a couple to the public, nothing more happened.
The supporting characters were mostly teasing boys, and girls in love.

Overall, it was the couple dating in secret, with occasional ridiculous embarrassed violence from Maki on Kanba's pervertedness.
The points of punching him in the face, and him touching her tits was odd, but for the most part it was very charming in how in love of each other they are.
I appreciate the sole focus of the pairing, and it could have been more instead of just a couple in love with nothing very eventful, but it was nonetheless adorable. 7/10.

What a cute ending but I would have liked to see a time skip to them in the future or in high school :o Really liked this manga overall as a sweet and soft romance

Re-read this since I had this on my tablet while Hurricane Fiona was taking place and there was no power and cell service for the whole day, alongside rewatching some other shows. This was still such a charming and sweet series, and the kind I would normally not enjoy, but somehow did here. The ending wasn't the flashiest or most exciting, but was fitting for a series like this. Seeing Kanba and Fujiyama's relationship evolve the way it did was a refreshing experience by the end. Shoutout to this for keeping me entertained for a couple hours yesterday lol.

Nice read, though I had a bit of difficulty at the beginning to believe in their relationship since Kanba is such an ass in the first chapters (well, he's your generic 14-15 boy after all). But he definitely improves along and this makes the whole alchemy works. Fukiyama is definitely quite an interesting character and brings by herself a specific charm to this manga.

I was not convinced in the relationship at all. It didn't feel like a genuine romantic relationship between two people but two people being forced in one. I mean, you literally have the guy asking the girl out just because he saw her body and the girl said yes, for what reason? I just didn't feel the chemistry and the guy was seriously the weakest in the relationship. He's short, perverted as fuck, weird as hell, unattractive and just hardly has anything going for him. It's like the most wish fulfilment shit ever. At least it was more entertaining to read than Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia

Fitting ending, considering their age. Having said that, I’d love to see a 15-year jump into the future, allowing for a glimpse of a Hollywoodesque ending (I’m a sucker for those). Id love to see the couple married with children.

@FlamingMangos Did we read the same thing? Because I could swear that Kanba's good points were evident halfway through the manga, and the reasons as to why Fujiyama likes Kanba are clear. I mean, it's not a bad thing he's turned on by his girlfriend, though the stunt in the first chapter is not something to be proud of. People can like each other for more than just their money, looks, or whatever they are drawn to.
