Omg, I never thought about Swim Swim like this. She is really a bitch.

I can't believe Tama died. Poor girl, I thought she would have had a major role.
I can't wait for the fight between Ripple and Swim Swim.

I think Cranberry can go on the list of most disappointing antagonists after that.

WHY MY PRECIOUS CINNAMON ROLL, Tama the queen, she saved Swim swim and then the bitch just killed her even though Tama is probably the second most harmless there ffs, Swim swim is just a evil bitch, she doesn't even have any redeeming qualities it makes me genuinely angry.

Ruler was such a bae helping out Tama, I don't hate her anymore; she did have a nice side to her.

Snow white is one of the worst protagonist ever and I find myself becoming a lot more invested in Ripple's story; I hope she kills swim swim in a grotesque way, I haven't wanted anyone to die so much since Seryu Ubiquitous (who was actually an interesting character.)

Also just to add. We need a more in detail explanation of who Cranberry actually is, we know she comes from a different world and proved herself in a test but like there must be more to her.

Interesting enough, the kanji she's learning in her school book is 友, which means "friend". You know, the thing she just lost definitely in this episode by cutting it down. Definitely not a coincidence. This also confirms that Swim is around 7 years old, considering the school program for kanji, as it's taught in second year of primary school.

i never knew this was going to have just 12 episodes, i never expected anything about this but everyweek got me like "ok let's see more of it"
the only 2 things that i didn't like about this anime.

1 not enough character develpment. it does have it but after they are dead -.-
2 Snow white do shit.

+i still don't know yet anything about how they turn in magical girls or about the magical world. well i don't know i hope someday there is a season 2 because i feel there is more story there.

As much as people hate on Swim Swim, you should take into account that she managed with Tama's help to take out the one who was orchestrating this death game.

Now there's only 3 girls left, and I feel like Ripple and Swim Swim will end up killing each other, leaving Snow White as the sole survivor of this crazy death game.

Cranberry's death was dumb beyond words. And Swim Swim continues her reign as female Hitler. This show has gotten considerably worse with each passing death, due to none of the characters getting characterization until the moment that they are about to die. I came in expecting a Madoka Magica, but what I got instead is an Akame ga Kill...

You know what this kanji mean? "Tomodachi', friend. And she cried. She's a good girl, but in a bad situation. If survivor game doesn't happened, they all could have been good mahou shoujo (except for Cramberry).

Except that Akame ga Kill characters all deserved to die like Swim Swim and that Madoka, even if its one of my favorites had Mami, who tried to pull down the masterpiece it was.

Dont get both of the references, as this isnt like either of them. And characterization before they die are huge death flags anyway. I think the anime did a good job by revealing Tama's and Ruler's scenes so late as it puts especially Ruler in a different light, while a few wanted her dead earlier in the game. Now we got Swim Swim thanks to that...

Honestly, I just cant feel anything with all these magical girls dying left and right. Their deaths are too fast and random and their characters are not developed enough to produce any emotions.

This show is a good example of a good idea poorly executed.
Mahou shoujo madoka magica is a similar show, but executed right.

So why are you still here after 11 episodes if its that bad?

It happens from time to time in stories. The strongest gets taken out by the weakest you never expect to see. If Tama had a much more evil and powerful personality she could have killed all 15 of the other girls with her power.

Wouldn't imagine a elementary school kid being the final boss. Really like how they showed the PTSD of both Ripple and Snow White, plus a bit more of Ruler's kinder side.

Swim Swim follows Ruler because she's a kid who doesn't know better. Considering light and sound abilities are traits only possessed by characters that died already, I wonder how Swim Swim will be beaten. (I predict Snow White will win, because she's the most prominent girl in production posters, and was the first character *properly* introduced)

(On a final note, holy shit Tama was far more powerful than I thought she was. Killing Cranberry in just one hit is impressive)

Nice catch there, definitely not random. I thinks that's a pretty cool thing to add in, especially in the context of what has just happened with her and Tama RIP Tama she did nothing wrong T^T

More deaths, Tama the weakest defeated Cranberry the 'strongest' only to get brutally cut down by her 'friend.' The flashback with Ruler teaching Tama made me appreciate and like Ruler quite a bit more just seeing how kind she was to some people.
I understand Snow White's thoughts but tbh I really want to see Ripple kill Swim Swim too :/
Ahhhh that entire Ripple and Top Speed part killed me, especially when she thanked Ripple for bringing her body home T^T
And then she told Ripple not to do anything dangerous, because she's no longer there to stop her from doing them *cries*
Also, Kano's transformation scene to Ripple seemed really out of place imo

I like what they did with the last ep title preview, nice touch and definitely foreboding with that music cut out

Well Cranberry's death was rather anticlimactic. I thought she would have put up more of a fight.

Technically she's far too powerful compared to any newbie magical girl in the first arc to die on anything else than her own blunder. This is the story of the time where she finally makes that blunder, never happened before.

Her death could only be anticlimatic. If she didn't die this time, the story wouldn't be about this time, and if she died, that couldn't be after an epic fight, because she 100% win those against any of the first arc magical girls.

No. Next week you will become a magical girl, and enter the death game your self. Your first opponent? Swim Swim.
Awww, can't I just pull a Nemu and hide in my own little dream world, and simply die due to no candies (that's a thought, they really went down the drain that system huh?). Plus, I could maybe instigate another mass murderer by accident and then they both kill each other in a heated battle (at which point ... I'm still in my dream world if I'm still alive) and the whole matter comes to an end.

And I magically resurrect everyone because ... why not! (I'm still holding onto that possibility for the finale, but I do that for every series when someone dies so this isn't a hint or anything XD)

I would actually be really interested to know if there's a magical girl in this series that can heal or resurrect other people, can't do anything for themselves. I think that could lead to some really interesting/humerus shenanigans.

But of course, she would probably end up dying, and then, not being able to heal or resurrect her self, simply stay dead.

Still, though. If Nemu had just been a bit more proactive in the beginning about earning candies, she probably could have lived through everything that followed. My guess is Tama or the Angels would have died in her place, she would have stayed in dream world, and sat on her laurels while Swim Swim murdered everyone you love.

This episode was two things for me: anti-climactic and unexpectedly feelzy.

I was hoping for more with the Cranberry showdown but...eh oh well. As for Swim Swim, well...being how young she is, this episode revealed how easily influenced and naive she is. So next week is the last episode...oh boy.

I'm still curious about the source because if this is just all in the first volume, I want to know how the hell the author wrote the following volumes.

Tama killed her oO That was sick as fuck. Never thought her ability could work like that. Sadly Swim Swim survived... What a surprise -.- And then she even goes full retard and kills her last "comrade". Why are all the kind girls dying D: Can't they let one of them survive except for the MC >.>

What is even going to happen now? Didn't expect we would reach just 4 or less an episode early. They now have an entire episode and I guess the other two are going to fight Swim Swim or something like that. Still felt kinda weird they finished what looked like the final fight so fast.

well. Wasn't it more like Swim Swim would have been utterly destroyed if Tama didn't save her with that surprising move? I cannot see how this was in any way planned by her. Yes there probably was some kind of setup but I doubt it was supposed to happen like it did.

I was not expecting Cranberry to die so quickly. It was anti-climatic. I thought she was going to kill Swim Swim, but instead it was Tama that killed her. Then Swim Swim goes on to kill Tama because she saw her real self. For the next episode, I hope Ripple kills her. Swim Swim needs to die already.

I predicted last time that cranberry won before, but I thought she was somehow immortal but she was not after all, she let her guard down thinking that tama was weak or Becuse she saw that swim swim was a child never underestimate your enemies even if they are weak, the weakest killed the strongest .
Swim swim has no soul at all even cranberry hesitated for a second when she saw that she was a child.
fav is really playing dirty, I don't think anyone can predicted what will happen now but that why this anime is great....

Hm, that's quite a different take. Tama. TAMA! Wow, I miss her already. But saying that, even the Angels I felt sad for when each of them died. I did miss them, I especially felt sad during Yuna's death, she did have some form of good in her.

Now that I think about it, wasn't Sister Nana sort of like that, though? She never really did anything for herself from what I can remember. She mainly helped Winterprison out during fights which showed that she couldn't function without her, eventually leading to her death too. That could also link in with what you said, she couldn't heal herself from the pain, and so committed suicide. But honestly though, wasn't expecting that AT ALL.

Now it's YOUR turn to become a magical girl. What would you do? (I feel like a game show host for some odd reason. XD)

Tama was supposed to attack Cranberry from behind whilst Swim Swim was fighting her. The anime didn't specifically point this out but that was the case. Swim Swim got blown away because Tama screwed up and didn't get to Cranberry in time.

This anime just kept disappointing me episode after episode and I reached the peak of disappointment after seeing how easily Cranberry was killed.I just can't...I don't know how things are in the LN and I am honestly curious about it, after reading everyone's comments in here, but this is probably one of the most confusing and hasty anime I've ever seen. I am not saying it's bad, but the characters literally make no sense and the "main antagonist" in it, it's the most senseless one. I don't care of the fact that she's a child, it's just insane and meaningless to do all the things she did JUST to become the most powerful person/ruler/princess or whatever she wants to become. It's so stupid and it makes the no sense at all.

Ripple's scene makes me really sad, though, ;___; she is nicer than she looks and she really did care about Top Speed, and so did the La Pucelle/Snow White scene (Shou-chan was an amazing character, he died a little too soon <33)

Can't wait to see what's gonna happen to Ripple and Swim Swim, though.

Seriously, what the actual fuck?
I started watching because of a recommendation and I honestly had hopes for it, but...
Man, Swim Swim just ruined everything by being a terrible character. Not the fact that she's killing off all the good characters (which is bad), but because her reasons and the build up are so horribly done.
The writing for her AND for Snow White (I'll never understand why she acted that way around Alice last episode) is horrendous.
I really liked Top Speed, Winterprison, Sister Nana, and even Cranberry. Somehow, I thought their death had some meaning, and I have no qualms about them.
But Tama and Hardgore Alice? Just... why?
There was literally no reason to kill Tama and HA off.
I'm pissed.

Wow! That was a good episode. It at least explained the beginning since the first episode that Cranberry was the last known survivor of the magical girl selection process. I knew Cranberry had the upper hand after she did so well taking on the group last episode. It felt strange that Cranberry got distracted at the final moments finding out that Swim Swim's human counterpart was a child. Unfortunately, that felt very anticlimactic with her death as she could have noticed Tama right behind her but it didn't happen. Tama had probably not remember about that rule of knowing a magical girl's real identity would be fatal so that's why Swim Swim killed her off. T.T

Also, Tama's backstory with Ruler was very interesting to see that Tama had trouble with school and needed help for someone to guide her. I thought that was good. I just felt so sorry for Tama and that's what made me cry so much about her. ;;

After everything that's happened, it's no wonder that everyone is feeling depressed knowing that Snow White and Ripple are the only two good magical girls left in the game. Another moment that made me tear up was when Ripple took Top Speed's human body to her home and Top Speed trying to comfort Ripple when she really needed it the most. I do hope Ripple can beat Swim Swim at her own game.

This has been one brutal and bloody series with deaths one after another. With one last episode, it's going to be a showdown between Ripple and Swim Swim. Swim Swim is really cruel and she's need to be taken down for all of the harsh murders she's committed.

Alright, to the episode.
Cranberry's death was pretty fucking funny to be honest, kinda caught me off guard that Tama could do that to humans as well, I guess a pair of legs is all you need lmao.
The death was pretty anti-climatic though.

To Swim Swim, holy fuck she is literally 7 years old. She was doing what I did in Japanese class in grade 7-8 for homework, thats a pretty big suprise.

Tama's backstory was very bittersweet, I realise how good of a person Ruler actually was albeit very upfront and ruthless. She was the only person who would help Tama, not even her family would. :(

All in all, a decent episode leading to the finale.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fav said there were FOUR magical girls still alive. As far as I know, only Swim Swim, Snow White and Ripple are alive, which makes three. So does he actually mean that there are four girls alive or just that they have achieved the goal of decreasing the amount of magical girls down to four?

I didn't like how Cranberry died, but I think she kinda got surprised by seeing Swim Swim was in the end just a little girl and that's when Tama got her, Tama just needed a scratch to make such big damage. Thinking about it, Tama was pretty OP, her weakness, she was too naive and nice.
I keep watching this show for Ripple, and because I want to see somebody killing Swim Swim, and I want to see Snow White's development.
