Kawana did the right thing making Ayukawa go to her ex's wedding. It was important for Ayukawa to move on and it was important for his ex to move on as well.

I thought her ex was a heartless woman for leaving Ayukawa and it seemed apparently the same too but you can never know what's actually gone behind the scenes. So, it felt incredibly real when Kawana caught Ayukawa and her ex talking alone and it looked like it was Ayukawa who dumped his ex instead of the other way around. It was sad in a sense that Ayukawa wanted his ex to live a normal life and he practically forced her out of the relationship. It's amazing how we can judge people outwardly when she loved him all along. :')

Given the fact that how Ayukawa disheartens Kawana by telling her to get a boyfriend, and then adding things like what hardships one must go through being in a relationship with a disabled person as he is makes me think he knows Kawana is interested in him but he doesn't want to tie her down to the hardships, the same way he didn't want for his ex.

But where does it put Kawana's feelings at all these as she is definitely falling in love with him more and more in this little over a month time she has spent with him after all these years? I think it's getting harder for Kawana to let her feelings known to Ayukawa the more she spends her time with him.

This manga has its way to pull heart-strings. Considering it deals with such a tremendous setback in life, it may look easy to pull these moments but it's not. So far, I think the author has been able to convey the message rather impressively with a good idea of what people with disability go through and how it affects those close to them.
