| It's really a shame, I enjoyed the 2 movies and have been waiting on the final one ever since. But guess it will never happen sadly |

According to box office mojo the budget of the 1st films was about 11M usd but apparently only made 5M in total(from the looks of it form box office mojo). While I couldn’t find the budget of the second film the data I could find only collected the Hong Kong box office so can’t really say how well that possibly did. Through the lack of the promised 3rd film to the trilogy, I can assume that the 2nd film had done worse than the first(likely mostly domestically but can’t say for sure). So yeah, they likely silently cancelled it That's really sad, it feels like they gave up too soon and didn't put enough effort into introducing it to foreign markets. It never got an official release here in America, I would totally have bought those on disc. |
