I was starting to think that Mami and Sayaka were going to both transform into witches. That would of been interesting. And Kyuubei's last line at the end of the chapter was awesome. Too many magical girls in the city means not enough grief seeds to purify the soul gems.

I have to say, I still can't tell what Kyouko's motivation is. Some moments it seems like she is really trying to help Sayaka, and then other moments it seems like she doesn't care. I freaking hate her in this manga. I hope she has some sort of redeeming moment.

I am still not liking Sayaka either. I guess I just don't like her character at all. I kinda felt bad for her in the series, after they found out about their soul gems containing their actual souls. But in this, she seems to be all selfish and winy. Although, letting Hitomi be possessed by the witch was an interesting touch for her character.

And lastly, Mami this chapter, made me not like her so much anymore. Her whole thing about her just wanting to not be alone, and faking the personality and actions to get others to stay make me mad for some reason. Maybe because I know people like that IRL, and they make me mad. Either way, this manga is really good at changing my perspectives on things.

Homura is still awesome, and Madoka is still....well.....Madoka.

So, with 1 volume of the series left, it makes me wonder....how is Madoka going to die/become a magical girl. Things still seem to be going well for Homura so far. 3 magical girls are still alive, although I suspect 1 will be taken out when they fight the Sayaka witch form. Probably either Kyouko or Mami. I wouldn't think both. Oh well, this is an interesting timeline, to say the least.
