| That eye and laugh this episode....WHAT The two vs two match was alright I guess although the first half didn't impress me much until the momentum really picked up later. Shame that yandere girl didn't compete yet as I wanted to see her talent. Those tiger metaphors though... |

| Good episode. It's sad that the games are being rushed through giving us only the score at the end, Then again I guess they can't exactly give us full 5 sets for 5 matches. Too bad Hokuto lost, I don't think her game was given enough screen time though. They should have showed some more plays from her game. The doubles game was great, Nice seeing Munemune and Kiruka work together, Their little flashback was nice and the tiger imagery was kinda amusing. The animation for that Tiger Smash play was awesome. Too bad the rest of the doubles game was skipped as well, I'm glad they won though. Here's to hoping that Agari's game gets more detailed coverage, I also hope we'll see a return to the animation and match presentation of the first 3 episodes. That was way too good compared to what we've been getting now. The opponent team is terrified of Kururi and her 'death practices'. XD |

| I really can't see them getting to and having a satisfying nationals arc if this season is just a 12/13 episode season. On this episode however I enjoyed it quite a bit, I really liked how Munemune and loose shirt make up for one another's differences and once Munemune was reassured that loose shirt's ankle wasn't going to be a concern they worked effectively as a team and managed to win |

| My god, the voice of Yuragi is so goooooood, and the character itself is probably one of my favorites in this anime. And Mayuu too, her laugh is awesome. And for the first time, we hear the voice of her partner. XD About the episode itself, both of the matchs are nice but the first match in the past episode continues the best for me. It was obviously that Munemune and Kiruka are gonna win because if they lose, there's no match for Koyori and Agari. And probably Agari is gonna win in the next week and Koyori lose/win in the final match. |
| Mayuu LOL That EYE! XDDD That last point that was actually shown without still shots was top tier, great rally. I wish, they would do that for every point that they can show. Well. I still have hope for the last two matches that it will get better with the gameplay, but if the still shots get too much again, imma have to go back to 7/10. |

Not gonna lie, that really cracked me up Still very predictable and I don't like how they keep skipping ahead whole sets as if it's a given, and also people also catching up without any explanation as for why. But even so it's still pretty entertaining so whatever |

| I had to pause after eye contact removal, that was comedy gold :) Im now wondering what that hellish training was like, getting Mr Popo from TFS DBZ Abridged vibe :) I really hope they wont pull that "Injure at important part of match" trope, and that Kiruka is fully healed. |

| Pretty disappointing stuff here. They didn't show much of Hokuto's match and how that girl was countering her. She was predicting her moves but they didn't give it much time. The predicting wasn't always spot on since Hokuto was surprising her at times. They should have shown more of that match. The doubles was okay I guess. Good thing they didn't add any BS here like you have to be connected deeply to play doubles or something. There was the thing where they say that they make up for each other's shortcomings in their games and that's a bit acceptable I guess. The comeback was good. Mune stopped worrying about Kiruka's foot and started to focus on her game. They started to set up things for deadly Mune smashes and broke through the wall with tiger power. Now the Mozuya girls will have to undergo even more intense training. Now it's Agari against the klutz. And Koyori has to answer that question too. It was bugging her here too. She'll find her answer while playing the yandere. |
| This is basically the same type of thing as Haikyuu except its ping pong, and its moeshit and I love it so damn much. Most of my complaints against this series are mainly just minor things, like still frames at points (though unlike DAYS this has a lot of visual design aspects that I like, and some moments in the matches look spectacular) and them skipping rounds for no reason. But overall, for a series with a rather mediocre score, its surprisingly really good. Think it'll just be 12 episodes because I don't think it has enough material for 2-cours. (And speaking of material, is the skipping in the manga as well? Or is it just the anime rushing things?) |
| Good to see some focus on Munemune. Not going all out because she's doubtful if Kiruka's ankle can stay healthy. I think it's natural to feel that way but in the end Munemune and Kiruka managed to score a big win. Now lets see if Agari and Koyori can keep the momentum going |

| I like the soundtrack when they're playing really intense. Lol that evil eye totally got me. I was thinking what powers she might have. xD This match was predictable otherwise there won't be anymore games to look forward to. The remaining two matches is the real deal. |
| It is pleasant to the new direction that takes the narrative, always showing some humor during the events, but taking on a much more serious character in the final. | Having a very strong captain who has some kind of injury is starting to become a cliché in sports anime -_- The show is fun so far though, I gotta be honest I expected to see all kinds of stereotypes at the beginning, but now every character seems interesting. The comedy is very funny and the animations are beautiful. |
| Hokuto also lost her game vs Yuragi. On the Doubles with Kiruka & Munemune they struggled on the start but after few flashbacks, they had their resolve because they both weren't good playing as singles but their chemistry fits perfectly for doubles! Since Suzumegahara already has 1 win and Mozuyama has 2, for sure Agari will win on this one because the last game Koyori vs Futamaru will be the deciding factor in which school wins! 5/5. | The "Paybacks a b***h" part surprised me greatly. Anyway, the rival girls. Every time I see the, I find them more and more entertaining and interesting every time they show up on screen, which is a lot considering the arc were on. They just keep getting weirder and weirder and I love it. And yeah, animation was awesome. I look forward to the next couple of matches. |

| I've really warmed up to this series now that we're getting into the nitty gritty. Now it feels like an actual sports anime instead of an anime that just happens to feature a sport (with mostly stills of reactions) but is actually just cute girls doing cute things. Really happy with the improvement. Sadly, some people have already ditched this series by now, so I guess I can say it's a bit late for them to make that adjustment, but maybe there will be a second season which will keep this type of momentum going for the most part-- I understand it can't be all hype all the time of course. |
| I really enjoyed the episode. I guess I wasn't surprised that Hokuto had lost against Yuragi. Hokuto really did her best there but I do agree that we should have seen more of that match too tbh. Yuragi was a really good competitor and she didn't hold back with her smashes and was easily able to predict Hokuto's moves. I did like that part with Mayuu with that Chuunibyou reference there with the contact lens and all. I kind of had that feeling about it. I'm glad to hear Kimiko's voice as we get to hear what she sounds like. She sure does love food very much as always chomping on her favorite snack. The doubles match with MuneMune and Kiruka was very interesting to start out with but I figure there would be some trouble along the way. They really do make a very interesting pair together. The flashback scene was very inspiring to see that they had to make up for what the other one lacks and it proved to be very effective against the doubles match with Mayuu and Kimiko. I'm very glad that they won. I kind of wished the series would be a bit more longer since the matches are kind of short and all. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the next episode is going to be very interesting with Agari facing up against Zakuro as the push for the Nationals continue. |
| too bad Hokuto lost... but, at least the adversary had some trouble with her ^^ (I laugh when she staggered after the match, XD ) is good to see some comedy with the girls of this other school (like the eye contact thing, XD )... but, besides the jokes scenes, everyone of them seems always too cocky... they're like an "evil team" (in sports animes, I prefer when they don't portray the adversary like "evil"... when we can sympathize with them and feel a little sorry when they lose, even if we was cheering for the main characters ^^' ) anyway, the double match was fine... of course, Pink and Black duo won this anime is fine... I only think it lack a little more "overturns" in the matchs... until now, avery match was like.. "A is leading from the start... B have no chance of win.... oh, wait a minute... *B do/think in something*. ohhh! Now B is dominating the match!!! and B wins!!! what a turn of events!!" |
