| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, that OP song. Catchy with style. Pretty entertaining episode. I have to admit, Nobunaga isn't just scary and intimidating but can really bring a lot of fear to his adversaries. Glad to see they kept the violence uncensored to get the full impact :D Shimazu is such a badass the way he swings his sword. Also loved the instrumental music they used this episode. |

| Holy shit, man. The violence is absurd. There's an overarching plot here in the alternate dimension going on. The three Drifters don't care for anything else but slaughter, war and taking over. Grey characters. |

| Fantastic second episode! The OP is amazing, I wonder if it's done that way intentionally or if it's still in progress, the song is awesome. I had way more fun watching this than the first episode, things are slowly starting to make more and more sense, although this still is a little bit confusing. Love the character designs and the personalities of the relevant characters in this are awesome and the animation was really good. The action and the violence were done beautifully, looking forward to more. Well, now I'm listening non stop to the OP. |

| Awesome episode, Excellent followup I loved it. XD OP visuals are so cool. All those dwarves in that one frame in the OP serve to remind you of that one 6 man Torbjorn game XD Onto the episode, I don't really mind the shift in the tone from Serious to comedy at all, It's actually quite fun at times. I found Yoichi saying he was 19 years old hilarious when the other two were competing. XD I just love how brutal, violent and bloody this show is. The actions scenes are stunning and so entertaining to watch, The sheer badassery of all the characters makes it even more better. The Oda laugh amidst the flames, Epic. It was very interesting to see how Toyohisa compelled the elves to stand up and take their revenge, A really powerful scene. That stabbing was great. There's a bit more mystery to the glasses guy now, Seems he's competing with this girl for some reason. He was also able to read news from the Drifter world? Just what kind of existence are those two? Gods or something? Anyhow, I loved these first two episodes. Really like how all this violence and war is being portrayed as a element in an overarching plot. |

| Hmm, this is starting to really get interesting now that we're getting hints of an overarching plot and something other than very violent battles and awful tonally jarring comedy, the latter of which was only better this time cos it only happened a couple of times. That aside, as much as I love the OP visuals, I really don't like the song at all. |

| Yeah the comedy bits are just wierd. But that's pretty much the only downside so far. The main trio make a good team. Toyohisa being the frontline brute and the action guy, Oda Nobunaga the brains (Though he can hold his own in battle), and the sneaky Yoichi as a cleanup, and the coolheaded one. We need some more info on the villains and the octobrist people, but I'm alright with being in the dark a bit longer. I wonder if they'll be able to bridge the language barrier.. Which is something that almost never posses a problem in a lot anime or games. Lastly, I like the fact that the glorious hellsing grade violence is back. The best part was that Toyohisa acually used an anti armor technique instead of 'just hitting him harded'. Sure the fighting isn't realistic, but it uses logic and isn't total fantasy fighting. Which makes the violence seem more 'real'. Him bashing the knight's face in just seems more painful that someone cutting an enemy about a 100 times per second. Even if the plot won't go anywhere, with the action as good as it is, this anime is going to be a fun one. |

| One of best openings. Done entirely by a french animator no less. Overall so far quite competent adaptation of the manga. Let's hope the quality continues to be consistent. It is funny to see people who never saw Hellsing Ultimate complain about comedy tho. Hirano has a certain comedic sense not many people get. |

| Alright ! That was way better than the first episode. Still has some problem with the comedy but im one of those people who didnt watched Hellsing yet so i guess i'll get used to it. Beside that, DAMN THAT OPENING IS SO GOOD. My favorite with 3-gatsu's op this season |

| For all the people complaining about the comedy, have you not watched hellsing?, 2ndly just because some of you people don't understand it, doesn't mean its "cringe" or bad, its more or less your ignorance, and that's not the fault of the anime neither the manga, that's the individuals problem, and no there is also no mindless killing, there is most definitive a story and reasoning behind there actions and motives, this is not some run of the mill anime, and for the people that reads the 1 lonely review on MAL take it as a grain of salt, as that moron is reviewing it base on 1 episode, and that is what we call "inaccurate judgement". |

| Interesting and entertaining episode but the characters have some really old cliches and the same could be said about the shit-tier humour, it is not a matter of understanding it or not, the gags are just bad and just because Hellsing does the same doesnt make them good. In fact, it counts as flaw for Hellsing too. |

| Honestly this series got my whole interest when I saw 3samurais/warriors from different times together, I couldn't care less about the stupid comedy I can easily ignore that the same way I ignore trolls through the internet. Also seeing people complaining about the weird comedy, I guess Hellsing Ultimate is not as famous as I thought. |

| Elves are attacked and they go to save them and make them take revenge in their own hands. Burning crops to make the enemy go hungry and mad, what a conqueror :) Indirect Battle of Gods who use the drifters as soldiers :O  |
