Man, I said before that I hoped the anime adaptation would warrant a re-release of the novels and here we are, with the first OVA not even aired yet. I'm so glad Vertical picked this up.

To think anyone would be sane enough to buy the $100 ones on Amazon.

Looks like the first volume is coming this January. So glad that this is happening, though I'm not too happy about the title being translated to decapitation.

HYPE! Pre-ordered it ages ago.

Yeah, they should've just kept it as "Kubikiri Cycle." Having "Decapitation" in the title is a bit redundant since "Kubikiri" literally translates to "Beheading/Decapitation."

Well, hopefully the translation would be of quality. Apparently, it's not being done by the same translator that did Kizumonogatari.

Any of you know how much of the anime this volume covers? based on the first two episodes, thanks.

First two ep covers something like 33% of first vol, eight episodes would cover the full first vol as it's announced.

Are there any news of a volume 2 release? Planning to buy the first volume.

Nope there isn't. Looks like Vertical was only planning to release the first one for the anime.

Well I guess another OVA announcement for the next volume is our only hope.

That's a pleasant surprise since vol 2 is often considered the best

So are they continuing this series or are we just getting the first two volumes as there was already pre-existing translations?

Apparently they do. Even though they're progressing at a snail's pace.

Zaregoto #3.

From the five books I've read already, this definitely has the potential for an anime/movie due to it being more action-focused. That said, it's my least favorite though.

Buy stuff, or buy at least your favorites if you can afford it - Don't be lame.

MAL is far from being my primary site for literature, which is why I’ve stopped doing single-chapter updates. Baka-Updates and two French sites are far superior—more detailed, complete, and less restrictive. They're perfect for manga, light novel, and book collectors like me, making the process much less stressful and tiring. -g-

My pleasure. Have been checking Amazon occasionally if anything new comes up regarding Zaregoto. It just so happened that I stumbled upon Vertical's "sneaky attempt" at submitting new items. ;)
