That got awkward. It's not a lack of common sense I guess but the talk itself..felt weird with a stranger.

Felt bad for him as well, Asuka should really be careful more. What if he was actually a creepy dangerous guy ._.

That's actually the point of this chapter; everybody assumes that this guy is creepy and dangerous just looking at him once; in effect, he becomes creepy and dangerous because people think he is creepy and dangerous.

Asuka, on the other hand, treated him the same way she would any other person without any preconceptions or assumptions. That's what Kyou no Asuka Show is all about: looking beyond the surface and questioning things that have since become societal norms. Society seems to think that people (among other things) should be treated as guilty until proven innocent, or treated solely as guilty without an opportunity to proven innocent. Asuka, on the other hand, thinks that people (among other things) should be treated as innocent until proven guilty. Asuka breaks down commonly-held beliefs, fallacies and muddled thought processes, succeeding most of the time but occasionally failing.

She's old enough to take care of herself, anyway.

Sometimes, Kyou no Asuka Show is social satire about sexuality/sexualisation, while other times it's a light-hearted comedy with a lot of personality.

But no matter what it is, Asuka always treats people with the respect they deserve.
