 Thanks gg for the 100% accurate non-trolling translation. Too much concert in one episode! Gimme more! They should have kept the... um.. "warrior" outfits. Flirty-Freyja was dropping bigger bombs than Hayate's dad... (finally a concert with some emotion) |

| So most of the replies on this episode have focused on the relationships and who ships which couple, with the rest commenting on the fanservice outfits. How is it that after that BOMB reveal that Hayate's father is the one who dropped a tactical dimensional nuke on Windmere nothing happened?? Why isn't he at least a little broken up that his Dad basically destroyed an entire base plus murdered a bunch of people on Windemere? There should be at least a little bit of residual guilt there?? He didn't even go through the motions of acting like he was sorry. Worse yet is Freyja, who I've concluded is a shallow, narcissistic, immature, selfish little girl. All she wants to do is sing. It doesn't matter who gets hurt or dies. And she didn't even feel sorry for all her dead countrymen because her hormones are all raging over Hayate. "Gimme gimme gimme I want I want I want." Selfish. Childish. Immature. And Ignorant with zero ability to think. The other windemerans must think she's worse than a murdering traitor. Neither of them even considered that MAYBE, just MAYBE, they're on the wrong side of this conflict from a moral standpoint. I've lost all respect for both of them and the CHAOS crew. I wonder what other horrible things they've done and are hiding. Kind of worried I'm going to find out in future episodes. The music is nice, the animation is great, the mecha and dogfights are wonderful. But the characters are just so ... ugh, who is left for me to root for now that isn't a morally reprehensible overly powerful immature kids or adults using the kids?? Guess I'm upset, it's rare that I get to the point where I detest all the main characters that are supposed to be the "good guys" in Macross. |
