What the final storyarc of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! or Konosuba would look like ? (hint:it will be a coma theory)

You know Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! or Konosuba it's about a guy named Kazuma Satō who is a rejected by his crush and died by some acute stress reaction,He meets a goddess named Aqua and is transported to a different world based on his MMORPG fantasies.He has many adventures with some group he encountered including some female characters.

But you know perhaps if there is a final volume in the light novel series (though i can't find out about the novel version whether it ends on hiatus or leaves a cliffhanger) ,I think i know how it goes.

It will be revealed that that Kono is not really dead he just fainted to some coma like state and is lying in a hospital bed for two years in the real world (or maybe one which depends)

Aqua is based on his lifelong crush and there is going to be a final battle in the world of Axel which represents that he is fighting for his life possible that the final boss represents the grim reaper or death,As Satō is near to his defeat and possibly losing his life,his allies including Aqua encourage him not to give up and with that he regained his confidence and continuously fight the final boss and with Aqua by his side they finally defeated him and the world of Axel is saved.

As the heroes celebrate Satō begins to disappear which means that he is about to wake up from his coma and going back to the real world he will then say his thanks and goodbyes to his female friends and allies who were with him during his adventures in his MMORPG world it will be considered sad and bittersweet as it is to represents saying goodbye to your old friends and move on,Then Satō before disappearing is about to say goodbye to Aqua but Aqua with tears in her eyes confess to Satō that she loves him but Satō tells her that he really loves her since she is based on his longtime crush and is the one who helps him fight to regain his life when he was in a coma state in the hospital room and as he disappears Satō ask Aqua if he would see her again in the real world which she replied that she will,This moment can be considered heartwarming and bittersweet as Satō's adventures begins and ends with him and Aqua.

Then the story ends with Satō one month later after recovering from his long coma state in the hospital is now a confident man and once again meets his crush (the girl who looks like Aqua) and confess to her that he loves her and this time it succeeded as the girl who also also has a crush on Satō begins to hug him with tears of joy feeling glad that he is not only alive but he finally has a chance to tell her he loves her. It will be considered a happy ending,What do you think?

To be honest, this just really doesn't fit a series like KonoSuba. I'd expect it to not be some bittersweet, tearjerker ending, but rather something that's gonna make us bust a gut laughing. KonoSuba isn't an anime I can imagine being serious for more than about five minutes.

Yeah it might be a comedy series but since it has fantasy and adventure in it i think it will have as what tvtrope called a 'genre shift' anytime soon.And it will have the bittersweet ending someday when the light novel series ends

Anything could happen but I just really don't see it happening. Also, what makes you think he's in a coma? Sounds similar to the Ash theory.

coma you saying? i really thought of that at first
what i thought was in the first episode once he pushed that girl he did get a heart attack or something right? at that moment when he fell lets say he hit his head and got into a coma at the hospital where he is treated he might be dreaming so in other words ALL of what he is seeing right now is just a dream maybe the characters are based off of the characters in the game he has bought who knows? that is my assumption/theory or what you said about the girl looking like aqua doesn't really seem logical but whatever we'll see
