Between which episodes would it make sense to watch the OVA?

I don't want to watch the OVA as the very last episode of this anime since someone mentioned that some main characters don't really appear in this episode. Between which episodes would it be a good time to watch the OVA?

The episode happens chronologically kind of in the middle of the last episode of season 2. I'd just watch it after you finish season 2.
