| The description for the anime discussion section says that it is for general discussion not pertaining to a particular series, although it's not always enforced. That's what the forum discussion section is for when you are on a series page, so technically the OP posted in the wrong place. @TiaDee is right, even if he was kinda a dick about it. |

| I didn't care for the 1st two episodes. So I've dropped it. It's clear the series will be heavily rushed. So I try to avoid the disappointment when I watch, waiting to see scenes animated, only for them to be skipped, or not done well when they are included. Lavi's voice also isn't good. He sounded like he was 10, rather than 17 / 18. However, even though I am not watching, I do still like to read and see what other people thought, and their praise or critiques on the episodes. So I don't HATE Hallow with a passion. Just didn't care for it these past 2 episodes. I wasn't a fan of the last anime either. But from what I hear, Shounen manga aren't being adapted very well these days, and are either very rushed, or dragged out too much with filler. Hallow is doing the former. The previous anime did the latter. I hear about, but am not familiar with, Berserk, and some who have stated how evidently the anime adaptation has not been good at all. |
| I actually really like D Gray Man hallow. The voices are growing on me and so are the designs. I also think that the 2 scenes were Nea takes over Allens body for a few seconds are amazing and superbly done! Ginnnn said: Hollow's OP is amazing in my opinion :D YEAS IT'S AMAZING! But all of D Gray Man's openings have been good. Also the author have changed the character designs alot since the begining so the anime producers are just doing what she has done. So it cant really be blamed on them. As for the new designs Allen is alot more mature and cool looking but at the cost of how funny and adorable he used to be. That might change in the future but for now that's how it stands. Lenalee has changed ALOT! At the begining she was was meant to be hot and sexy but now it seems that she's trying to look cute instead. Dunno how i should feel on that but oh well. As for the character designs i like: Road. Her new design is actually better then her previous one according to me. Kanda has keept his design pretty well and i like that. The HD kanda looks awesome. A pretty good start, i think everyone were so hyped up that we all were expecting something out of this world when we heard of the hallow announcement. It's not bad but it's not perfect either. |

Im already 4 episodes in and its starting to blow right past me. its getting hard to enjoy it, when its cramming alot of info down my throat. I really do hope this series gets to continue. I know ill support it. but i do hope it starts to calm down again and start to pace instead of run right past me. Hallow isn't THAT, THAT terrible, but when you comes from the old serie that was REALLY slow, it's EXTREMELY noticeable. I personally like tis pacing better and my only complain would be the number of episodes, but yeah, the main problem is comparing it to the last serie because they're just like day and night regarding this. As a stand-alone Hallow would seem "very fast, but ok" but with the old serie before it just seems obvious. I actually like it better this way since all of the main plot is still here. I think they will rush Alma Karma BIG TIME (which depending of HOW they rush might not be a bad thing) but until ep4, the plot is safe and at least I'm never bored during the eps compared to some eps of the first season. And the serie will probably continue, even if it's just to advertise the manga, if it has enough support. I guess the current Hallow is also more of a test run so some things are understandable. They'll not do a long anime if it doesn't have any audience anymore. Of course it causes the problem of the current arcs not being the best they could have been for some people, it's sad but not THAT bad. |
