[VN SPOILERS] About the ending..

The adaptation is coming in about a month, so what do you guys think about the ending?

Do you think that they're going for an original good ending? or they're keeping the true ending where THAT thing happens...?

I really want the true tragic ending though, even if its depressing, i think that was what made Planetarian memorable and a great emotional experience.

I doubt they would make an anime-original ending, considering Planetarian's ending was praised, not to mention you'd usually only do an anime-original for a VN adaption if there's no other choice. With Planetarian, it's a kinetic VN so, no choices.

Plus, it's basically confirmed that they're going with the original story, considering they're adapting "Hoshi No Hito" to a movie, and Hoshi No Hito serves as a conclusion to Planetarian, taking place after the VN/KN.

From what I hear, it might even be an adaptation but a sequel of sorts, at the very least the ending seems like its gonna be an original. Who knows though.

Forget what I said, apparently there's gonna be a movie and an OVA series.

I have heard there was a sequel in print form to the vn. Maybe that will go into the anime too.

I think they should do the ending from the VN nearly 1:1.

David Prod. has done well with this adaptation but they rushed through some critical conversational points that took place inside the planetarium, especially regarding

The least they could do to make up for those quirks is have the original VN ending.
