I've read all comments in this thread. Some people hates Super Lovers, I'm quiet surprised. Well... because if you're so into yaoi genre, this genre will be so common.

Anyway, thanks to this thread, now I know what is the meaning of Ren's love is different from Haru's. So, Ren is the one with romantic feeling. Haru has always been protective towards his brothers. He needs to clear the line if he really wants Ren as his brother or not.

This anime is exciting. I wait for it every week :))
I've read the manga, too. The manga is popular for yaoi lovers, I guess.

I've really been trying not to cringe because I like the show so far, but Haru stalking Ren at school was creepy. Boundaries, my dude. This has been a lot less yaoi-centered and more like a siblings story than what I expected, however.

the creepy vibes intensify as haru stalks ren at school and then blackmails him into kissing him. not to mention passing kissing on the lips as normal between brothers, which is definitely not in any country after a certain young age. haru is just taking advantage of him. the comedy is tolerable but the characters and the romance are incredibly lame. Haru is manipulative and abusive, not to mention way too immature for his age while Ren is just a kid who has lived differently from other guys so he doesn't know what to expect in general so he just does what haru says. i can understand why some people might enjoy this show but if you look at it more seriously it's very creepy.

The only thing that bothered me a little bit is that Haru doesn't seem to mind to kiss his little >brother< in public. I haven't read the manga so maybe I am missing something out but I know that at this point he just means it as a brotherly love and not in a romantical way. Ren does though. Its just something which I can't comprehend well since it should be obvious for Haru that lovers kiss on their mouth and not siblings.
And I find it hilarious that only Iku seems to have the exact same thought while the other two brothers just argument with "you know him. He is like that" :D

I don't even think it's that. Haruko/Haru/Natsu or whatever he goes by says siblings kiss on the mouth like it's a normal thing. Well, in the 3 different countries (that shit does not happen normally in Canada and I grew up in Quebec) I have lived in, I don't know where he gets it. True, often girls and sometimes male siblings do but they tend to drop that stuff around the time they hit puberty. So the "it's just siblings kissing" is just ridiculous altogether. Infuriating is how he basically blackmails Ren into doing it by saying he won't serve rice.

Then to top it off, he outright tells his friend Iku that Ren is his little honey and that he's confident he could win Ren over any girls in the area. Why would he need to beat the girls or call Ren his "little honey" if he wasn't romantically and sexually interested (despite his notions that Ren has no sex appeal). It's lines like that which give credence to people that say Haruko/Haru/Natsu is a creeper that his *grooming* Ren no matter the age of consent being 13.

All of this made me realize how much I dislike the character's personality which I find just bizarre, unnatural and quite frankly creepy. Immature for a 24 year old or not, the guy is kinda batshit IMO. Haru bothers me on the same level that Usami/Usagi is in Junjou Romantica. A charcater I feel took advantage of the naive and clueless young dumbass that is Misaki that was staying at his house.

Anyways, this episode made me decide I need to drop this series and not bother even with the manga.

Haru is so unhealthy and I say that without bigotry. Honestly, age gaps can be hot and it's okay if the rabu-rabu is reciprocal and caring and blablabla, but in this episode it's pure grooming, can't be denied even if you're into shotas. Logic in a fully fictional pseudo-incest fueled BL work, absurd idea yes, but really:
Kissing your lil bro at school
Blackmailing him using his favorite food
Getting jealous over possible rivals (present or future)
Stalking him
...He was 'holding back' huh.
And why are the twins so chill with it, all they do is eat and watch 😭

I like Kurosaki-kun but the host friend is hella annoying. Iku is a kinky name btw 😈

watching, waiting, commiserating
