| I liked the Fusae reference. I thought the professor's love story would remain forever unresolved, but this shows there might be a future encounter with her soon enough. I got the rum part, but if both the main suspect's name and rum were written, doesn't that mean that the main suspect Asuka is Rum? In other words they now know Rum's identity? |

Not necessarily. Rum was given at least three different body descriptions: a strong-built man, a feminine physique or that of an old man. But all descriptions share the fake eye. There are at least six different characters who are speculated to be Rum. If we go by the name pattern, we can conclude that Rum is male. There are theories that Rum is a master of disguise, that he has features of all three body types or that Rum is a collective identity like Pain. Gosho disclaimed Kansuke Yamato from being Rum in an animal crossing hint. There is also a hint that Rum has already appeared in the series, likely in chapter 906 or even before.  No wonder the feminine physique. |
