| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This case has been one of my favorites this season so far now. It has a mythic feeling to it because of the "Snow Demon" or whatever and although I doubt there's anything supernatural involved, it's still thrilling enough with the horrors of the case. From the episode, I liked how Kindaichi became to piece the puzzle together with things he heard from before. Should be interesting to see how this turns out. |

| At this point I the people I suspect the most are assistant guy and the cook (although this one is unlikely, because of how little his screen time is). |
| It's going to be one of the two pretty boys going by the first episode (glasses guy is the most suspicious for asking the questions and telling Kindaichi which road to take and the popular blonde the second just because). Haven't really put any effort to thinking about it though. After thinking about it, the motives in Kindaichi are always the Revenge because of a Tragic Past so I guess the girl from the same school/the popular guy wanted revenge for the death of her friend/sister/girlfriend. Anyway honestly... It's just the basic Kindaichi-Miyuki travel somewhere and the usual stuff to seal it off from outside world happens-setting (to make it a suspense story),the presentation is pretty good (better than rosenkreuz) but it's just kind of sad how the Takato case offered something new with the investigation (another character than just Kindaichi in it with their own goals, motives, that has a different type of persona etc), despite being the same type of case as this, but now we're back to this. |

| It's kinda obvious that there is more than one murderer in this. For one, the glasses guy and the CEO were trying way too hard to convince Kindaichi (of all people) that Sabaki was the killer and given the fact that the girl who disappeared first went to the same school as the idol that committed suicide, it's possible that she may be working with them as well, though I have some doubts as to that. |

| incredibly stupid that they didn't confirm sabaki's death when they saw him in the coffin. ALSO STUPID that they didnt check all of the coffins... the killer probably swapped sabaki's coffin with the other empty one. i think the creepy girl is suspicious (just like the rose mansion case). also, when the axe was chucked into the cabin, it was obvious how it was done. someone said it was getting too warm in the room, so i assume the temperature was raised so that someone could be deflected on the window. |
| Plenty of people being suspicious there, between the CEO and his secretary wanting to recheck to body and the girl insisting that it's the demon's doing. |
