The announcement is enough to wish for adaptation before the 1-shot chapter itself is even published ...

The beginning itself cracked me up. But but that means they did not actually do it that night before Noda proposed to Chiaki sigh

Doesn't necessarily mean that. That is phrased very suggestively but by framing it within a question Ninomiya-sensei is leaving it ambiguous what "it" actually is.
