 A new TV anime project with character designs by Hiroyuki Asada will premiere in 2016, according to a wraparound jacket band found on the final volume of Tegami Bachi. The jacket band shows a preview of some of the character designs, but the new series remains unnamed at the moment. More information will be available at a later date.Hiroyuki Asada is the original creator of Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee). It was first serialized in the September 2006 issue of Monthly Shounen Jump, but after ten chapters, the series was moved to Jump SQ. The OVA was pretty bad :/ Uhmmm.....what? Not sure what you're going "what?" for but Asada started "I'll" back in the 90s. It's about middle school basketball rivals ending up in the same high school and all (think Haikyuu). It ran till 2004 but apart from a two episode ova which was completely pulled out of the main storyline, it's never had an adaptation. The art of the kid on the left of the wrap reminded me of one of its lead boys, that's all. |
