| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Excellent fight between Zi Yu and the ancient god. The entrance of Ah Gou and fighting along with his uncle will make the fight better and defeating the ancient god more logical. Although considering only 9 chapters are left. I have no idea how the war and manhua in general could end within this few chapters. |

| Yea I get you. 8 chapters to go until the final countdown. I mean once the 2 ancient gods go down. The rest are easy picking since Lan Yue has abandoned the gods, Tian Wu, Xuan Feng are too injured to continue. Zhen Chen isn't on gods side. That just leaves the bird gods & Shen Yen. It won't take too long to subdue that group. Since most great gods are on rebelling gods side. Shen Yen thought he didn't need the sage kings any longer. That's why he was so bold in having them be replaced by those 2 ancient ones. |

| Yeah, also we still didn't see his Limit Break yet. On the other hand maybe the author want to give some credibility because after all they're fighting an ancient god. |
| I'm also a little disappointed that Ah Gou joined that fight. I get he is the main protagonist but still, this manga is slightly reminiscent of Fairy Tail in that Natsu has to be in fucking everything. Think Ah Gou will really give his soul to the Ancient Dark one? |

Still here is hoping that it doesn't happen. Despite not being my favorite character in the manhua I still like Ah Gou and hope he lives to see it through even though it seems less likely now. |

You'll find the explaining part in chapter 144 title "Contract of soul". I also think that's not going to happen. But it should be for some good reason. |
