| A pretty solid ending with an epic victory of Tyson! As expected Tyson obviously saves the day and with that I really do wonder what the movie and third season will offer us! But in general I quite liked this second season as well while I still preferred the art style and pacing of the first one, ,but this certainly was a fun season so without further ado let's see what's next. |

Before my rewatch I thought S1 was clear of V force due to traveling around the world and the amount of tournaments. But this one managed to switch things up nicely with a more plot focussed approach, the addition of Hitomi, the Saint Shields and some others. Dunno if I prefer the CGI Bey battles. The Sacred Spirits on the other hand looked more colorful here, which I like. S1's simplistic design had it's charm too, tho. |

| @RafaelDeJongh Seems like they just put in a lot many arcs in this one which didn't connect very well with each other. I, at first, really like the more serious tone of the series but then by the end it started making a lot less sense as things progressed especially the entire the tournament arc because there were participants breaking rules here and there and the authorities were just standing around being Yeah Fine that looks very normal for a tournament. But all in all a pretty decent run but I'd say the first season had got a lot many right as compared to this |

| Even as a kid I thought this android plotline was random af and on a rewatch it just made me laugh. This season is easily the worst out of original 3. Hilary was an annoying addition but grew on me a bit by the end and the plot was all over the place. I remember as a kid I thought the cyber bit beasts were cool but besides that this fails to compare to how good the original and G Rev were. On to rewatch G Rev next. |
