| other than what 2 ppl above mentioned - All of Kon's works (Perfect Blue, Sennen Joyuu, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers and Paranoia Agent series) My personal ranking: Sennen Joyuu > Perfect Blue = Paprika > Tokyo Godfather = Paranoia Agent - The three gambling anime: Akagi = good, One Outs = very good, Kaiji = good - Yuasa Masaaki's works (Kaiba = very good, Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei = great) - Hosoda Mamoru's works (Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo = great, Summer Wars = pretty ok) - Asaka Morio's works (Gunslinger Girl = ok, Cardcaptor Sakura = pretty ok, Nana = great, Chihayafuru = good). About Gunslinger Girl, you should read the manga. - Trigun => good but not great for me. - Hajime no Ippo => good - Vampire hunter D: Bloodlust => very good - Metropolis => good - Hanada Shounen-shi => very good in overall but the last arc wasn't very good - Texhnolyze => great - The Animatrix => it's just ok (had godlike animation though) - Gungrave => the first half was great, the second half was just ok. You should skip the first episode (you'll know why when you finish watching the show) - Beck => it's just ok for me - Paradise Kiss => good - Hellsing Ultimate => ok, not very good - Black Lagoon => good - Saiunkoku Monogatari => pretty ok - Death Note => ok - Claymore => skip the last 2 episodes and read the manga from ch58 (or so) on - Dennou Coil => great - Casshern Sins => some eps were great, some others weren't, pretty ok in overall. - Shigurui => great but you'll need to read the manga to know the complete story - Redline => great, awesome production value, eyecandy, the story & char are weak tho - Aoi Bungaku => great but i disliked the last 2 episodes - Hunter x Hunter (2011) => very good, best long running battle shounen imo - Kiseijuu => very good - Death Parade => pretty ok. well, i will update someday. |
