Now i've seen so many comments on how the story in the anime adaption feels no development on plots. Example like , why do they focus on the bath scenes, why there're no action scenes, why the show is so boring with nothing happened, why this show is so different from the first series which has war , so many episodes filled with so many fillers ,and so on.

But seriously, from my point of view for this serie , they don't need to focus on bath scenes on every episodes while in the game has only 1 SCENE and the others are on the other places for other dump-Infos lol

*HUGE SPOILERs for The Episode 9 and its original*

And then i decided this, i'll create the thread for Itsuwari no Kamen Visual Novel Spoilers, there may be some cases in the Visual Novel that'll be different from the anime adaption, but i've to tell that the Visual Novel is better than Anime adaption in terms of Informations. (IF you guys can read Japanese, that is)

For those who have played the Visual Novel, feel free to spoil the infos here if you want to. I'll make some spoilers here as well, but not this time. I'll just leave it un til i think it's time to make it :3

They are clearly trying to output the "calmer" parts for first cour in order to build up attachment to characters and the peaceful status quo. So when it all stars crumbling down, it does so nonstop instead of weird SOL interruptions like in first uta adaptation.

Yep, It's true that they are clearly trying to output the calmer parts until the 2nd cour comes in order to build up characters' development which are bad and good.
But all of them is important for the 2nd cour especially the latest episode where anju finding what love is for oshutoru.

Maybe i should start to spoil the next episode (VN) ? since there's a sign of people dropping. lol

Let them drop.
Maybe they'll come back when they somehow see the 2nd opening and learn what the second cour contains.
I can already hear the complains in my head if they think that the 2nd cour doesn't live up to the original series in their eyes, or about the ending and wondering why they "wasted" so much on "SoL shit" to give an incomplete ending.

Sorry if I'm sounding bitter, but hearing complaints week after week.
But who knows, maybe I would also complain if I didn't play the game(don't think so though, I'm enjoying the comedy and don't mind the slow pace.)

I still cant stop laughing how most of complaints come during the most important episodes, like where Anju is introduced or the one with Aruru/Eruru, etc.

Even this episode "Omg random filler about love with that filler brat"

Not to mention crap like "They should have covered all this in three episodes tops" or "why are we bothering with previous show cameos instead of giving this a story".

Many anime only watchers who aren't going to play the VN (Itsuwari no Kamen) mostly think this is just a trash with no main content plot (maybe war plot or something serious huh???) while not aware of the later on.
We've already told them many times that this is an only time to enjoy peace before the storms kick in within 3-4 episode from now. lol

Well we can't blame them anyway since they're only focused on ANIME. they are just lazy to waste their time for "Japanese lauguage" VN which they dunno any words(and only wait until the popular western publisher like ATLUS to release english version which maybe next year or further.) Or Am i wrong? lol

Though i've to say it's also the stuffs' faults that they spent too many episodes with SoL.(especially with BL stuffs and bath scenes lol)
It'd be better if they postpone the episode where kamyu and aruru come out for the later. so we can go on faster into the serious content.

At least the next episode where haku's group go help Anju(idiot kid) will be the last SoL or maybe the Episode 12(Kamunagi Chain).

Well, it seems the staffs decided that it would be better to focus on particular characters, probably because some later decision made by Kuon and Haku isn't easy to understand even in the game.

And apparently they don't really get the overall theme of the game that they have removed much of the thematic parts. And some of the anime only viewers are right about they're trying too hard to make it episodic. Much time is wasted to fill in gags instead of making the overall theme complete, or they might think a love story of two people misses their chance getting together could be the overall theme. While the gags are not really bad and some are really good IMO, I would say it's not what they are really good at.

As I'm still enjoying by having a different route than the game that is still entertaining, I wouldn't say as far as "crappy direction", but it's not a direction that I'm in fond of. Just hope that they can pull off some really good stuff later on.

After Kamunagi of Chain there should be reactions of all people including the generals, and then introduction of Sakon. But then they may just compress it. Anyway, with expectations this low, I think we're going to see that when the war starts somebody's gonna say "What's the point of this war?" and all that jazz.

If this is a spoiler thread than I have 2 questions. I've already read the synopsis for the game but there were some important infos that I missed.
1. Why did the emperor attack
? There was something mentioned about a request from him that
rejected. Or wasn't that explained because there will be most likely a sequel?
2. Also why didn't the emperor (Mito) turn into a slime?
