Moved from general Anime Discussion.

Death Parade is a powerful anime that tells a pretty interesting story. I would have to say there is nothing wrong with it~

If you feel it then just let it run. Nothing wrong with that.

Right? The writing for that series was so well done. It's definitely one of the best of the year.

tsumiki no ie is only 12 minutes and it's extreamly well done. furiko even only has 3 minutes long and it's masterpiece.

No it's fine I am surprised Death Parade made you cry tho lol. Might just be me but really hard to get that attached to charries from a more episodic anime than a continuous series. Also not finished yet just a few episodes in but doesn't seem that sad lol typical storys as far as the games go. I find the bartender behind the games stuff the best.

If it made you cry you should really try Angel Beats,Clannad,Kanon,Elfen Lied and so on lol. Pretty basic answers but just off the top of the head haha.

It was really hard to get attached to a majority of these characters. The one with the detective and the brother was actually pretty good though.

Absolutely nothing wrong! I personally almost dropped Death Parade as it's characters fates moved me so much! Every time I was sad already at the beginning as I knew portrayed people died and couldn't help but to thing about their close ones and how affected they were by the death of close ones... For further information about my feelings (crying) watching Death Parade go see my post at episode 11 discussion, LOL...
Anyway, disregard all posts here which are advising you to seek professional help. :) Half of them are lying and were touched too but they are too embarrassed to admit as we males are not suppose to cry ever - and that is the biggest bullshit ever! The other half are senseless people who are unable to feel anything and especially they are incapable of showing solidarity or sympathy and of feeling empathy!!! These people are either psychopaths or sociopaths! In peace time they are just jerks but during the period of war and chaos such people are doing atrocities! Proven fact - you'll learn about that if studying social sciences!
And mentioned concepts (solidarity, sympathy, empathy), among others, are playing mayor roles in ethics and others philosophical teachings (if you are atheist) and in all religions!

Don't be afraid or ashamed of your feelings. They are just proof that you are considerate, sensible and caring (etc) person! I'm sure your parents are proud of you! :)
Take care and enjoy in Anime in the future!

Nothing wrong with that! I almost cried at the last like three episodes, and I never cry when watching stuff.

Technically it wasn't necessary, sometimes it's look like fillers, but last episode was powerful though.
