| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty intense episode especially with the battle overseas. I think this one captured the fighting spirit of the pilots against those monsters. Some pretty powerful technology as well including that laser-like blade. Quite a thrilling episode of action! The way those mecha sliced and diced were spectacular. I really gotta give some of credit for these pilots' fighting abilities as I originally underestimated them. |

| All the people who died in the island since the first episode of the first series are here (well, besides Akane Makabe and Tsubaki Minashiro of course), even the secondary pilots of the first season, damn so many memories... Kaburaki 'ate' the whole leviathan instead of being eaten, I wasn't expecting this, holy s***. Kouyou returns and a walker and a leviathan goes down, man he always played as the trump card in this series. |

All the people who have passed away standing there, so creepy. Wait. Hiroto wasn't there. Why. Kenji got such convenient power. He kept talking about how he would take the pain instead though, guess that's the downside. Seri was terrifying with all the "Let me eat you". But so cool. MIMIKA!!!!! NO. MIMIKA!!!!!! So the last message was for Kouyou. where could the coordinates be directing them to? I wonder if they will move the whole island there or just a few fafners. Next episode title... Time of Awakening. What awakening O_____O I'm gonna think about this the whole week. |

| Tbh was pretty lost but the action was fast-paced and pretty intense. For a moment I thought all the pilots had died but it ended up being only Mimika. What happened to the two that were helping her beside her that got enveloped by the gold dust? Ah well, with it showing all the dead pilots, I'm starting to think they all might be able to be revived or something....overall the mechanics are really confusing. I'm not even sure how they won. xD Just that somehow that dude came back....from..where? O.o Was he dead? What wast he new power that sprouted? Why'd they all hold up Kouyuu at the end, cuz they still weren't sure if it was him? Pretty lost. =( |

| SO GOOD Words can't describe how good it is, so I have placed an order on the BD 8D Insane mecha performance, fkin Hiroto's new power is a freaking surprise Kouyou's new power is anticipated since his revival on last episode but damn feels at the cemetary and Rakuen. Of course the ending : BAD HUMANS ARE GOING TO GET REKT 8DDDDDDD Can't wait :D |

| Awesome episode, but too bad for Mimika though. She really gave her best there. Kouyou's power is very strong in fights. He was able to cut the walker without much problem. That grave scene was a nice touch from the studio. |

| The goubain curse leaves no survivors. Outstanding episode, i feel like mimika has a chance of being revived in some way shape or form though i could be wrong, the way i was interpreting what they were saying is that she is going to still be able to control the fafner in some way cause the crossing is there, but outside of it shes just the ball and cant properly interact with anyone else. I dont know how they will do it but maybe she can break the goubain curse and survive this, or maybe she will be fully assimilated by the next fight. I kind of was betting on all the island fafners to survive so this kind of puts a wrench to my prediction, hopefully this means my prediction that all the away team fafners dying isnt correct, maybe kouyo is going to head towards their location somehow and save some people? But theres still casualties incomming according to soushi and if his messages are correct then hes going to be one of them |

Just guessing though Yes, for those that don't know yet, Miyu Matsuki , the VA of Shouko (Fafner), Isumi (Hayate no Gotoku) and Cthuko (Nyaruko-san), has passed away two weeks ago at the age of 38. It was pretty shocking since she voiced memorable characters of series that aired this year, such as Anna (Shimoneta), Sapphire (Fate kaleid liner) and Lailah (Tales of Zestria). Other than the grave visit this episode was also pretty amazing in the action and plot department. |

| OMG! They showed not only Kanon, but Shouko, Mamoru, Karin, etc. then they showed Ryou and Yumi. AAAAAAAAH! Devour it, Seri. Mimika's gone now. The Gobain curse continues. Who will become the next Gobain? Kouyou visiting Shouko's grave as expected. Kanon and Shouko next to each other. So glad the mom didn't see that. Tunnel time. |
