| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was actually alright I suppose. Better animation than I had expected but not a full length show. I'm not sure I like Ren much but he does have an amusing personality especially with his inner dialogues. And oh yeah, that Aoi girl is also introduced. Pretty standard episode imo...nothing too special about it but the theme of Monster Strike is pretty evident. START THE STAGE. |

| For an anime based on a mobile app game, this looks pretty good. Feels like I'm watching digimon, which brings out my inner childhood nostalgia. And that Queen cover ED was just awesome. I only wish it wasn't a short format. Btw, that bitch on the bike...in the overhead shot, there was sooooooo much empty space, she just had to be riding in the goddamn middle right into the guy. I hope the hag crashes. |

| That Queen remake so fking amazing and totally unexpected. I was thinking about the royalty too, but as I recall, as long as they only release in it Japan, it might not be as expensive as we think. Eh. Didn't even know Kobayashi Yuusuke was the MC in this, another great surprise. And he's showcasing his voice acting skills too, with his weird monologues, lol. Someone recommended me to watch this, and since it's the week of breaks for all the ongoing anime, I have the time :) Also decided to watch it for Kawanishi Kengo, who I think I'm becoming a fan of. Well as for the content itself, Ren is a funny MC, and the comedy in this is mostly a hit for me so far. I cracked up when Ren's monster thing headbutted him in the stomach. |

| Normally I stay away from anime like this, but this was quite good. His sister is an annoying brat, but still tolerable. Aoi seems to be interesting. That remix was unexpected. |
